Refusing to let his team’s season end on Thursday night, Victor Wembanyama put up a performance for ages in the San Antonio Spurs‘ Game 6 win.

In leading the Spurs to a 118-91 victory over the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, Wembanyama made franchise history in the first playoff run of his career.

Victor Wembanyama was not about to let the Spurs lose in Game 6

Tying the series and forcing Game 7, Wembanyama became the first Spurs player to ever record 25 or more points, at least 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in an elimination game.

He scored 28 points, connecting on 10-of-21 from the field and going 4-of-9 from long range. Wembanyama also added 10 boards, a pair of assists, two steals and three monster blocks.

After finishing with 19 points in San Antonio’s second-round series-clinching game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Wembanyama has reached 20 points in every game of the Western Conference Finals to this point.
