For at least one more season, Cameron Jordan will be a New Orleans Saint. The 15-year veteran who turns 37 in July signed a one-year, “ incentive laden,” deal for what could be his final NFL season.
“After we win the Super Bowl? Absolutely,” he responded when asked if there was a scenario in which this was certainly his final go.
“We win the Super Bowl, I’ll fill the goblet up and drink out of it like the Stanley Cup and call it done.”
Given that New Orleans odds of winning the Super Bowl in 2026-27 are long, the door seems open for Jordan to return once again next year. In 2025 Jordan was his reliable self, starting all 17 games for the Saints and racking up 10.5 sacks – his seventh double-digit sack season.
