Heading into the British Open, world No.1-golfer Scottie Scheffler missed his first cut in 79 stars at the Genesis Scottish Open.
But his first round at Royal Birkdale, seems to have shaken it off, making four birdies in his first six holes and finishing his first round -2. While Scheffler is still looking for his first Major championship of 2026, he’s the defending Open champion after winning at Royal Portrush.
