Gabby Windey Reveals Why Michael Bublé Is ‘Beyond Dead’ To Her

Gabby Windey didn’t hold back when recounting her awkward run-in with singer Michael Bublé during her time on “Dancing with the Stars.”

The “Bachelorette” alum and the “Traitors” winner let her true feelings fly on the April 3 episode of “Las Culturistas,” the podcast hosted by Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers.

And let’s just say, Gabby Windey’s opinion of Bublé is anything but bubbly.

“Michael Bublé is beyond dead to me,” Windey said bluntly. “Not the first, second, third, or fourth time” she’s publicly criticized the crooner, she added, and she’s not planning to stop anytime soon.

According to Windey, the tension dates back to 2022 when she was competing on “DWTS.” She claimed Bublé made her feel uncomfortable while on set.

“He, like, literally eye-f-cked me, looked me up and down, on the way to my trailer,” she alleged. “I’m like, ‘I’m for sure getting a 10 out of this guy.'”

But instead, Bublé, who served as a guest judge during “Michael Bublé Night” on the show, scored her a 9.

When Rogers suggested maybe he was trying to flirt, Windey wasn’t having it. “That is not the way to flirt with me. I don’t do that,” she said. “I like the love bomb.”

Windey’s comments reignite a growing conversation around the behavior of celebrity guest judges on “Dancing with the Stars.”

During the most recent season, Gene Simmons of KISS came under fire for making uncomfortable comments about several contestants’ appearances. The rock icon was criticized on social media for remarks he made about Danny Amendola’s dance partner Witney Carson and “Zombies” actress Chandler Kinney, comments that left both pros and fans cringing.

“It’s difficult to look at both of you and to figure out which one is more hot hot hot,” Simmons said after Amendola and Carson’s performance. “You are right next to somebody who … one more beautiful woman on the planet. She makes you look good.”

During a podcast appearance, the 33-year-old reality star opened up about what she claims were major safety oversights while traveling with the show’s national tour, specifically regarding the conditions aboard the tour bus.

“I went on tour with ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and I will not shut the f-ck up about it because it was the worst thing I’ve ever done,” Windey said. “The insides were a decrepit tour bus. There were like 12 of us, and I think there were like ten bunks. At one point, people were sleeping on the floor, which that is a liability, but what’s done is done.”

Her blunt remarks are now sparking broader discussions about the logistics and safety protocols of the high-profile tour, which brings the hit ABC series to stages across the country each year.

The “DWTS” tour is typically known for its high-energy performances, dazzling costumes, and star-studded lineup of fan-favorite pros and celebrity contestants. But behind the scenes, Windey paints a less glamorous picture.

On TikTok and Instagram, users flooded the comment sections with mixed reactions, with some praising Windey for speaking up and others defending the tour’s behind-the-scenes efforts.

“None of us know what it’s like…obviously, but it’s funny she spoke so highly of her time and is now taking crap about it. [Eye roll emoji.] Bad or good you got paid to do a job,” one user wrote. “No job is perfect. She’s sooo cool.”

This isn’t the first time the “DWTS” tour has come under scrutiny for its demanding schedule and intense travel conditions. However, Windey’s allegations add a new layer, particularly when it comes to potential liability, especially her claim that some participants were sleeping on the floor due to a lack of proper bunks.

Windey competed on Season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars” in 2022, placing second alongside pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Despite her positive experiences on the televised competition, her post-show commentary suggests a stark contrast between the glitz of the ballroom and the realities of the road.
