DJ Fat Tony is clearing the air on why he spoke about the ongoing feud between Victoria and David Beckham and their son, Brooklyn Beckham.

Tony previously shared his thoughts about the whole situation. He noted that Marc Anthony was largely to blame because he had initiated the dance between Victoria and Brooklyn, which the eldest Beckham son felt was “inappropriate.”

This comes after Brooklyn published explosive claims about his parents, accusing his mother of attempting to steal the spotlight at his wedding and publicly distancing himself from them.

After Brooklyn denounced his family and accused his mother of hijacking his first dance during his wedding to Nicola Peltz, Tony spoke up about the situation. However, he recently revealed that he only said something at the time because he was asked to do so.

“Yeah, I was [asked to speak]… There’s a WhatsApp group [with Brooklyn and Nicola],” he said, per Daily Mail. Tony further revealed that it was not his intention to throw anyone under the bus. Instead, he “just spoke from the heart.”

The DJ explicitly stated that when he spoke up, he wasn’t trying to spill the beans on the family conflict. Instead, he spoke as honestly as possible in an attempt to shed light on the situation.

Tony, who has close ties with the Beckham family, got emotional, insisting that it is still his wish to see the Beckhams get a happy ending. He still maintains hope that, despite the large fallout, there might be a possible reconciliation in the future.

He further noted that it was “sad” to see that some people got so swept up in the drama that they forgot that “some kid’s hurting and a family’s lost their son.”

What DJ Tony Said About The Incident At Brooklyn Beckham’s Wedding

Tony’s statements came as a clarification to what he said earlier in the year, when he shed light on why the famous family was feuding. At the time, The Blast reported that Tony described the situation as “really awkward.”

The 60-year-old DJ noted that Anthony had been performing at the wedding when he called Brooklyn to join him on stage.

After that, he asked “the most beautiful woman in the room” to come forward, urging Victoria to join Brooklyn, not Peltz. This supposedly came as a shock to guests who expected Peltz to join Brooklyn on the stage.

According to Tony, the situation left the eldest Beckham son looking “devastated,” while Peltz left the room bawling in tears. He noted that Brooklyn felt it was awkward and “inappropriate,” regardless of how other people felt about the situation.

Following the uncomfortable situation at his wedding, Brooklyn publicly denounced his parents, cutting ties with anything that has to do with them.

The photographer accused his parents of undermining his marriage and attempting to manipulate the public’s opinion about the Beckham family. A source later revealed that he “has no regrets about speaking out publicly against his parents,” per The Blast.

The insider also revealed that Peltz supports her husband’s decision, adding that Brooklyn feels at peace with how everything played out.

As the family feud rages on, many expected that there would be a reconciliation sooner rather than later; however, the opposite seems to be the case.

According to The Blast, a source revealed that the entire Beckham family is distraught over the deep divide between Brooklyn and his parents.

The insider noted that although everyone is trying to get on with their lives, it’s still “terribly sad” that David and Victoria have not been able to make peace with their son.

The source further revealed that if Brooklyn ever decides to step back into the lives of his parents, the iconic couple “will be there to talk.”

Despite hopes of a reconciliation, the feud appears to still be on, with Brooklyn missing key family events.

A few days ago, David was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As the first soccer player to be recognized with this honor, his family members were present to support him, except Brooklyn, per The Blast.

Despite his son’s absence, David was overwhelmed with joy. When he received the honor, he admitted that it felt “surreal” and expressed gratitude for being recognized in the presence of many other great personalities.
