Zerek Sidney is a 4-star wide receiver from Goodyear, Arizona.

He had a chance to stay home and play college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils. In fact, they were one of his top programs and Kenny Dillingham and his staff were hot after him on the recruiting trail.

Sidney could have also gone to one of college football’s most historic programs, Oklahoma. The Sooners were also in his top three.

Ultimately, though, it was Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies that won out in this recruiting battle.

Checking in at 6-foot-5, 175 pounds while playing for Desert Edge High School, Sidney committed to Washington on Thursday.
