Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story can endure anything… even a broken chair! A teaser clip for Wednesday’s episode of Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast featured a slight mishap. When the Kansas City Chiefs tight end leaned back, the chair snapped, and Travis can be seen falling back as he tries to grab something to steady himself. Instead of worrying about getting hurt, he was worried about his fiancée’s reaction to the broken chair!

Travis Kelce Is Concerned About Taylor Swift’s Reaction After Breaking Her Chair

In a teaser clip for Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Travis and Jason can be seen laughing about something when Travis leans back in his chair. It seemingly collapses under his weight as he falls backwards, reaching out with his arms to try to steady himself.

Jason can be heard saying, “Oh, sh-t,” before they both burst into laughter. When Jason asks his brother, “Are you all right, Trav,” Travis assures him that he is “good,” before adding, “F-ck, Taylor’s gonna kill me.”

Although it’s not clear what they were laughing about, the episode features Patriots star Julian Edelman and the Seahawks’ Cooper Kupp. The episode will drop ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Why Taylor Swift Is Not Going To Play The Super Bowl

Even though the Kansas City Chiefs won’t be performing in the Super Bowl this year, the “Mirrorball” singer is not going to be performing the Halftime show. In October, while promoting her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” she appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon to talk about her life and career following her engagement to the NFL star.

She explained that her management team has had only general conversations with Roc Nation about performing and revealed that she would be too concerned about Travis’ performance on the field in order to focus on her choreography.

In her words, she told the host, “Jay-Z has always been very good to me. Our teams are really close. They sometimes will call and say, ‘How does she feel about…? And that’s not, like, an official offer or a conference-room conversation, more ‘How does she feel about it in general?’

“And we’re always able to tell him the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field,” she explained. “Like, [football] is violent chess. That is gladiators without swords. That is dangerous.”

She went on to say that she is “locked in on what that man is doing on the field” for the whole season before asking, “Can you imagine if he’s out there every single week, putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and I’m like, ‘I wonder what my choreo should be? I think we should do two verses of “Shake It Up,” into “Blank Space,” into “Cruel Summer,” that would be great!’”

Although Travis is not going to be playing in the Super Bowl this year, 2026 might still be shaping up to be a big year for him, as recent reports suggested that the couple might be tying the knot this summer.

As The Blast previously reported, Norton told co-host Maria McErlane on his “Wanging On” podcast that he had received an invitation to their upcoming wedding. However, he revealed he couldn’t comment on it because he’s “signed so many NDAs.”

The Wedding Will Reportedly Be Held In Rhode Island

Sources have previously told Page Sixthat the wedding will be a low-key ceremony held in Rhode Island, while other reports have indicated that they might choose a stylish private venue in Tennessee.

Although it’s not clear at the moment when or where the wedding will be held, that isn’t the only question on fans’ minds. Many are wondering whether Travis Kelce will return to the Kansas City Chiefs for another season or retire. Sources say the NFL star plans to announce his decision in early March.
