Tom Brady took his football flag rivalry with Joe Burrow to another level by roasting the quarterback after he partied with his rumored love interest, Alix Earle, following the Oscars.

Brady made the comment during the inaugural event for the competition, in which he leads Founders FFC alongside Jalen Hurts. Burrow, alongside Jayden Daniels, captains the Wildcats FFC, whose name Brady also referenced while trash-talking the quarterback.

The interaction has since gone viral online, with some fans branding Tom Brady “jealous” for taking a swipe at Joe Burrow.

Tom Brady wasted no time setting the tone for his flag football rivalry with Joe Burrow, taking a playful dig at him during Wednesday’s draft.

Brady’s Founders FFC is set to face Burrow’s Wildcats FFC, with the rival team’s name being the centerpiece of his jab.

The Fox Sports analyst also brought up Burrow’s Oscars party moment with Alix Earle, the social media personality Brady has recently been linked to.

“That’s what they called Joe the other night at those Oscars parties .. the Wildcat,” Brady trolled Burrow. “At least he’s here, no fashion shows to attend,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion further mocked his rival, who is a brand ambassador for the clothing brand, Alo.

Rather than giving Brady a taste of his own medicine, Burrow chose the high road, but did give the former Patriots star some side-eye before later breaking into a smile.

Netizens React To Tom Brady’s Roast Of Joe Burrow

Although on the surface Brady’s remark appeared to be playful banter aimed at his rival, some netizens interpreted it differently, suggesting it hinted at jealousy over Burrow partying with Earle, a woman he had previously been linked to.

“Baby Brady…letting his jealousy show,” one user noted on X, while another remarked, “LMAO, he’s clearly jealous someone closer to HER age is talking to her.”

“Brady is salty all his young targets want Burrow,” a third netizen commented.

“Woooey, Tom Brady called it out straight up and live to Joe Burrow over that Oscars after-party thing and obviously over the Alex Earle drama too,” another user noted, before mocking Burrow for not responding.

“And woooey, Joe straight-up just stood there like frozen stiff!! Didn’t say a word,” they added.

The interaction between Brady and Burrow comes a month after reports emerged that the Fox Sports analyst and Earle are “hooking up,” per People Magazine.

Previously, it was reported that the duo met through mutual friends while visiting St. Barths and partied into the New Year alongside other high-profile friends.

They were also said to have briefly reconnected at a sporting event later that month and have remained in touch since their initial meeting.

“[Alix] and Tom have still been texting since New Year’s,” said a source, per US Weekly. “They knew each other would be at the game, but it wasn’t a planned event together.”

More recently, the two were seen together again in public over Super Bowl weekend, where they appeared to recreate their St. Barths’ chemistry at a party hosted ahead of the big game.

While neither Tom Brady nor Earle has confirmed any romantic involvement, both are currently not tied to any other relationship.

Brady is nearly four years post-divorce from his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, whom he was married to for over a decade.

The pair split due to irreconcilable differences, and Bündchen has since moved on with her jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente.

The supermodel who shares two children, Benjamin and Vivian, with Brady, welcomed her third child, River, with Valente, earlier this year.

Unlike Brady, who has been single for over three years now, Earle is just three months removed from her split with Houston Texans wide receiver Braxton Berrios, whom she dated for two years.

In a post shared to TikTok following the split, the internet personality appeared to hint at the reason behind the breakup, saying she couldn’t “be what Braxton needs.”

At the time, she also revealed that they had been in a long-distance relationship for five months, which coincided with Berrios’ demanding NFL schedule and her filming commitments for season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
