For the second time in his career, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic gave Denver fans a legendary performance on Christmas Day. In a back-and-forth affair between the Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves, Jokic went off for 56 points to go with 16 rebounds and 15 assists in a 142-138 overtime win.
Jokic became the third player in NBA history with multiple triple-doubles on Christmas Day, and his 56 points were the third-most all-time scored on Christmas behind Bernard King’s 60 in 1984 and Wilt Chamberlain’s 59 in 1961.
