The ‘NBA active 40-point game leaders’ quiz

After dominating their way to the Eastern Conference’s top-seed in the 2024-25 regular season, the Cleveland Cavaliers find themselves 28-20 and in fifth-place just a week ahead of the NBA trade deadline.

But the Cavs seem to be finding some consistent form, winning four games in a row and six of their last seven. One of the main reasons has been the dominant play of star Donovan Mitchell, who posted his fifth 40-point game of the year in a 114-98 win over Orlando.  Since Jan 1, only Luka Doncic has more 30-point efforts (nine) than Mitchell (seven).

Next up for Cleveland is a primetime matchup at home with Luka, LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Mitchell is currently 15th on the NBA’s active leaderboard for 40-point games with 33 so far in his ninth season. With that being said, can you name the active NBA player with at least 10 40-point games?

    Good luck!
