The ‘Most INTs in an NFL playoff game’ quiz

For the third time in three seasons, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud won at least nine games in the regular season and a playoff game.

But after he followed up his five-fumble (two lost), one-interception game in the Wild Card win over the Steelers with four picks in the first half against the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round. The Texans defense kept the game competitive, but Stroud and the offense were never able to pick up the slack and were eliminated in the AFC Divisional Round for a third-consecutive season.

Heading into the final season of Stroud’s rookie contract, the 2023 second-overall draft pick has been chasing the success of his rookie year, when he threw for 4,108 yards and 23 touchdowns to just five interceptions in 15 starts. But his regressing numbers and postseason struggles have given Houston a lot to think about before potentially offering him a second (and presumably massive) contract.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stroud’s four-interception performance against the Patriots was the 39th all-time in a playoff game in the Super Bowl Era (since 1966). How many of those quarterbacks can you name in five minutes?

    Good luck!
