John Harbaugh has made a decision about his coaching future

The Baltimore Ravens’ shocking decision to part ways with head coach John Harbaugh sent shockwaves through the National Football League.

Harbaugh had been in charge of the team for 18 years, and while there had been some rumblings about his future, it still seemed that they were going to run it back. That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see that he’s now become the top candidate for several head-coaching positions.

Nevertheless, the former Super Bowl champion isn’t going to make any rash decisions. If anything, he’s going to take some time off. According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, he’ll wait until next week to think about his future.

John Harbaugh won’t take any interviews this week

“Former Ravens HC John Harbaugh is not expected to conduct any head coach interviews until next week,” Schefter wrote on X.

Harbaugh is reportedly the leading candidate to take the reins of the New York Giants, who have already reached out to former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski as well. He might also be an interesting choice for the Las Vegas Raiders, while the Tennessee Titans have reportedly zeroed in on Kansas City Chiefs assistants Steve Spagnuolo and Matt Nagy.

Harbaugh is a well-known commodity in the league. Even with the recent lack of success, his experience and resume speak for themselves. With 11 double-digit-win seasons in 18 years in Maryland, he’s going to have plenty of options to choose from to take the next step in his career.
