Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis may appear picture-perfect, but behind the scenes, they face challenges, and Curtis is not afraid to talk about it.

The “Friends” alum, who was previously married to Brad Pitt, reportedly began dating the wellness coach last year.

Since then, they have made their romance Instagram official and publicly shared their admiration for one another. Now, Curtis is sharing insight into their connection, revealing how they overcome difficult moments.

During the February 12 episode of the “Ced with Intention” podcast, Curtis spoke candidly about the realities of his relationship with Aniston, acknowledging that they face occasional friction.

“I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend,” Curtis told host Cedric Thompson Jr. “We spend a lot of time in the house together. Sometimes, we can have, like, little things that flare up.” However, when those moments come, and they are faced with several options, they choose to deal with it positively.

“We have the opportunity to either be silent and be angry; or go leave the house, or think about it and meditate on how to change it,” he shared. “Or we can say, ‘Hey, this is what happened, I’m sorry,’ and do the repair.”

While disclosing how they fix their challenges, Curtis emphasized that the repair only works if the behavior actually changes. However, if the same problem keeps happening, trust starts to break down.

Curtis’ candid comments about resolving disagreements come just days after insiders suggested that Aniston’s past may be casting a shadow on their romance.

According to The Blast, insiders claim the coach is “deeply intimidated” by the actress’s past with Pitt.

“Brad Pitt isn’t just an ex-husband,” the source shared. “He’s a cultural icon – one of the sexiest men to ever live. That body alone became part of pop history.”

Pitt and Aniston were a sensation in the early 2000s. Although they divorced five years later, they have remained cordial, and their old spark is still widely talked about by fans. Due to the lingering public interest, Curtis reportedly feels pressured.

While a second insider claimed Curtis is not in any competition with Pitt, they admit he feels overwhelmed by fans’ ongoing attachment to the “Brad-and-Jen narrative.”

As Curtis and Aniston navigate their relationship, even dealing with the past, new developments suggest they may be preparing for a more permanent future together.

As The Blast reported, Curtis has put up his New York City apartment for $1,525,000 on the market after several failed rental attempts.

The South Seaport property was first offered at $9,000 per month in April 2025, then re-listed at $10,500 in June before being pulled again in November.

The decision to sell now signals a more permanent move, perhaps to be closer to Aniston, who remains firmly based in Los Angeles, where her real estate portfolio continues to expand.

Aniston and Curtis first sparked dating rumors during a summer getaway to Mallorca over the Fourth of July weekend last year.

They made things official in November when Aniston debuted their relationship on Instagram while celebrating Curtis’s 50th birthday.

Per The Blast, the 57-year-old actress posted a black-and-white photo of herself hugging her man from behind. She captioned the post, “Happy Birthday, my love, Cherished,” and Curtis responded in the comments with a kissing face emoji.

Curtis has also been showing support for Aniston, standing by her during the set of “The Morning Show” and its premiere.
