Gwyneth Paltrow Coyly Plays Matchmaker For Daughter Apple

The Goop founder, who co-parents Apple and son Moses with ex-husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, seems eager to spark a connection between her daughter and the “Frankenstein” star.

Elordi recently ended his on-again, off-again romance with Olivia Jade Giannulli, but has yet to confirm if someone new is in the picture. With Paltrow openly teasing Apple’s admiration, could sparks fly?

In a candid Actors on Actors chat with Variety and CNN, Paltrow playfully revealed how the “Euphoria” star has become a favorite in her household,

“It’s so nice to be here talking to you. My children are very jealous!” Paltrow told Elordi. “My son looks up to you; my daughter is in love with you.” 

The “Glee” actress admitted she, too, might catch the love fever. “I probably will be too, by the end of this,” the wellness enthusiast gushed.

“The Kissing Booth” actor’s response to the 53-year-old actress was a funny acknowledgement. “Well, that’s the thing you always get,” Elordi noted. “Every person says, ‘Oh, my mom loves you. My daughter loves you. My girlfriend loves you.’ It’s never: ‘I love you.'”

Paltrow then replied, “I love you, Jacob,” before recalling she had first encountered his acting on the HBO show, which her kids had warned her not to watch.

Paltrow’s revelation about her daughter’s admiration for Elordi comes just two months after he and Giannulli officially called off their roller-coaster relationship, which first began in 2021.

A source confirmed the breakup is final this time. “It’s fully over. They are not getting back together,” the insider claimed, per The Blast. 

The former couple briefly rekindled their romance in September after an August split with a PDA session at the Toronto Film Festival red carpet. But now, the relationship is finished once and for all.

Insiders said Giannulli is handling the split well, and what bothers her most is her parents’ Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s separation.

Although Elordi and Gianulli are no longer together, it seems the 28-year-old actor may have returned to the dating scene. As The Blast reported, Elordi was spotted sharing an intimate outing in Malibu last month with model Kristen Kiehnel.

For the date, Elordi kept it casual in a gray sweater over a white shirt with denim pants, while Kiehnel rocked a white tee, a checkered overshirt, paired with brown trousers.

The pair enjoyed sandwiches, salads, and drinks, with candid moments showing their closeness, including Elordi offering Kiehnel a bite of his sandwich.

Unsurprisingly, the actor’s rumored romance sparked fan reactions, with many noting similarities between Kiehnel and his past partners. One fan remarked, “She looks like Olivia,” while another added, “He has a type.”

Meanwhile, Paltrow’s girl, Apple, who she teased has a crush on Elordi, has stepped into the spotlight, launching her music career while studying law, history, and society at Vanderbilt University. 

 In October, The Blast reported the 21-year-old dropped her first music collaboration video with Jade Street, titled “Satelittes,” despite media criticism of her singing abilities.

In a press release, Street explained how the duo came together for the track, saying she had written it last year, but it felt incomplete, and Apple’s voice was the “missing piece.”

On the other hand, critics seemed to have a different opinion after a TikTok clip of a live performance surfaced.
