Running back Cam Skattebo probably gave New York Giants fans, as well as new head coach John Harbaugh, a little bit of a scare this weekend when he was seen botching a backflip on his surgically repaired right ankle.
Skattebo was filmed attempting the backflip during an appearance at Fanatics Fest on Saturday night.
He began by lifting up his pant leg, pointing to his ankle, and then attempting the flip. He did not land it cleanly and fell backwards, before jumping back up as if everything was fine.
The good news for the Giants is that everything does, indeed, seem to be fine.

Skattebo said he was perfectly fine on Sunday during another Fanatics Fest appearance, and promised fans he would not hurt himself before the season begins.
He also said he has no intention of changing who he is, no matter what anybody else has to say about it.
“I’m just going to keep being me, and if they want to say I’m brain-dead, and I don’t have no brain, then who cares, f— it,” he said.
That pretty much explains the Skattebo experience as plainly as anybody could.
