Cardi B is ready to cheer her man Stefon Diggs on during football’s biggest night, as the rapper will officially support the New England Patriots star in this year’s Super Bowl.

On Sunday, January 26, the Patriots earned their spot in Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks on February 8, and based on Cardi’s excitement, she will be cheering more than anyone else.

Despite the freezing weather conditions and the football field being blanketed with snow, the Grammy winner, decked out in a luxurious fur and long, flowing green hair, was greeted with a big hug from the Patriots player as his Super Bowl fate was sealed.

Speaking with Cameron Wolfe from the NFL Network, who caught Cardi while she was still on the field, she shared her happiness for the father of her infant son, born last November.

“I’m feeling very excited, very happy for him, very proud of him,” Cardi began. “You know, he just came back from an ACL and me seeing the progress and the process of him, from the first time he started running back, and now joining the Patriots and actually going to the Super Bowl, I’m very excited for him. Very excited for the whole team, they been working they butts out.”

The couple was caught sharing a few cute moments as Diggs was coming off the field. In addition to hugging Cardi, the football star also planted a sweet kiss on her while they posed for photos.

The duo collaborated on the massive hit song, “I Like It,” which, to date, is the biggest hit of both of their careers thus far. This likely means that Bad Bunny will definitely perform it, and with Cardi already guaranteed to be in attendance to support Diggs, her joining him to perform seems obvious.

However, in keeping with the tradition of Super Bowl halftime show surprises, neither of them has revealed anything that can be taken as a hint that they will take the stage together. So as of now, fans will have to wait and see.

To kick off the new month, Cardi will perform on “Saturday Night Live” for the first time in 7 years, on January 31. The Super Bowl follows a mere week later, where she will no doubt be a prominent fixture, especially if she performs at halftime.

That’s just the beginning of her packed month, as Cardi will kick off her first official tour to promote her chart-topping and record-breaking album, “Am I The Drama?”

Although not confirmed, Cardi could also make an appearance at the Grammy Awards on February 1, fresh off her “SNL” stint.

Shortly after he was accused of strangulation involving an alleged physical encounter with his live-in chef, Cardi took to social media to defend him, per Billboard.

The chart-topper posted an alleged text exchange between herself and the female victim, which she has since deleted.

“Not once has that woman said anything to me about being touched.. NOT ONCE!! Mind you, we was talking every single day until she left that house, and she JUST wrote me this,” she explained, after the woman also alleged that Cardi knew about what happened, but did not help her.

“But I’m gonna let the courts handle this sh-t and when it gets handled I want all yall talking sh-t on your f-cking knees with apologies just as loud as the way yall been harrassing over a lie.. and I put that on my two-month-old son in the name of the lord!! That’s how confident I am,” Cardi added.

Diggs was formally charged on December 30 with felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges, after the chef said he strangled her over a payment dispute. His arraignment, initially set for January 23, was pushed back to accommodate the Super Bowl and will now take place on February 13.

On Wednesday, January 21, Diggs spoke about Cardi’s support as he navigated his first season with the Patriots, and also turning her into a bona fide football fan.

“I just appreciate the support. She’s been an amazing support of just me and the Patriots. She wasn’t a football girl before I converted her over,” he said, per Boston.com. “But, I’m just thankful to have her in my corner. She’s an amazing woman, and [we] continue to build that relationship.”

“I don’t talk too much about my personal life. But she’s an amazing woman, and I just appreciate her. Hopefully, I can build on that and watch that tree grow,” Diggs added.
