It seems Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s fairytale wedding is undoubtedly the most anticipated event in Hollywood, and nothing wants to stand in the way.

As the date for nuptials approaches, it has been reported that Michael Rubin has opted to reschedule his famous annual Fourth of July party to avoid any clashing.

Although no exact day has been confirmed for the wedding ceremony, it has been reported that the couple favors the Independence Day weekend to celebrate their love.

The Fanatics CEO has moved the date of his yearly Independence Day bash from July 4 to July 1. Page Six confirmed the reschedule to a Wednesday.

Although Rubin has yet to announce the change formally, the outlet reports that sources believe the change has everything to do with the Swift-Kelce wedding.

It is unclear if the move was made out of respect for the pop star or to avoid competition. It is no news that Rubin’s Fourth of July parties, which have become a Hollywood fixture over the years, feature the crème de la crème of the entertainment industry.

A-listers like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox, Tom Brady, and others are among the guest list for the yearly soiree, which is usually held at Rubin’s Hamptons residence.

This isn’t the first time a Hollywood powerhouse has influenced Rubin’s decision about his shindigs. Last year, the entrepreneur was reportedly forced to say goodbye to his famous annual White Party, which occurred at his Bridgehampton property.

As The Blast reported, the shocking move was made as a result of the “bad stigma” from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ similar parties.

Fans may recall that the disgraced rapper also threw white parties, too, which eventually became the focal point of his sex trafficking case due to alleged “freak-offs.”

Diddy’s scandal has since put a stain on such parties, causing Rubin to decide to terminate the gathering altogether. “Diddy White Parties have given the theme such a bad stigma after everything that came out this past year,” a source explained.

As a result, the businessman instead turned his attention to charitable events to help champion his non-profit organization, Reform Alliance.

Details Of Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Wedding Leak

As Hollywood continues to make room for Swift’s big day, details remain scant about what guests and fans can expect.

The “Lover” songstress and her NFL fiancé went the extra mile to protect their privacy, serving NDAs to guests and vendors alike. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop information from spilling to the public.

According to The Blast, insiders revealed that Swift and Kelce will say “I do” at a New York City venue as opposed to the singer’s Rhode Island mansion, which many presumed would be the wedding venue.

Also, the event will take place indoors, unlike other celebrity weddings, to further guarantee the couple’s need for privacy. Despite the leak, sources say Swift and Kelce have no intention of taking legal action even though they are disappointed.

The Wedding Venue Still Remains A Mystery

Even with wedding information reaching the public, the couple has managed to keep a tight leash on the actual location of the summer event.

The wedding venue remains a secret to all, including guests who have received formal save-the-dates and RSVPd. A close source revealed that Swift and Kelce left details of the location blank on the invitation cards.

“There’s a date, but no venue. And that’s completely intentional. The truth is, no one knows exactly where it will be yet,” an informant explained, per The Blast.

The lovebirds made such a drastic move because they are reportedly worried about security due to their immense combined fame. They are concerned that their nuptials would turn into a “circus” if details of the venue got out.

While the lovebirds are big on privacy, they aren’t being secretive about the kind of gift they want for their special day.

As reported by The Blast, the pop star and athlete have informed guests that they don’t want wedding presents, as they have more than enough.

Instead, they advised attendees to donate to a list of charities already pre-approved by the couple. As for the reason behind their decision, a source noted, “They don’t need anything. Between them, they have more than enough. So they decided, why not use this moment to help others?”
