Blake Lively‘s legal battle with Justin Baldoni has several celebrities picking sides, with the latest of them being Jameela Jamil, who called the actress a “suicide bomber” in newly released texts.

Lively’s exchange with pal Taylor Swift was also released, showing the popstar criticizing Baldoni and also advising the “Gossip Girl” actress on how to leverage Hollywood power dynamics to her advantage.

Blale Lively and Justin Baldoni are expected to testify in the trial later this year, but the actor’s camp may have left the door open for a settlement.

Jameela Jamil has made headlines for the inflammatory language she used to describe Blake Lively in a comment about her legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

The “It Ends With Us” co-stars have been at each other’s necks since Lively filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment while filming, as well as creating a “hostile work environment” that left her suffering “severe emotional distress.” He countersued her, but a judge has since thrown out the case.

Court documents obtained by Us Weekly showed Jamil calling Lively a “suicide bomber” and a “villain” as she spoke about their legal standoff with Baldoni’s publicist Jennifer Abel.

“I want to officially incorporate nightmare c-nt and demon c-nt into my vocabulary; UNBELIEVABLE; She’s doing this to herself,'” Abel wrote about Lively, to which Jamil responded, “She’s a suicide bomber at this point.”

“At least borderline abusive is out there, so she can’t go in with a predator,” Jamil noted.

Elsewhere in her text with Abel, Jamil seemingly mocked Lively’s post where she shared a link to a domestic violence hotline, saying it is “so cold.”

“I’m thinking about having Justin share it, along with a wink emoji,” Baldoni’s publicist quipped, but Jamil wasn’t in support and said, “Ahahaha, no, keep him away from her; keep him silent; Keep him in Sweden.”

Abel then expressed her dislike and disapproval for Lively, to which Jamil seemingly agreed, and accused her of putting up a “bizarre villain” act.

According to the news outlet, a source commented on the situation, saying, “It’s disappointing that instead of listening to women when they speak out, other women call them names and discredit them in defense of a fake male feminist.”

Text exchanges between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively also showed how the singer supported her friend while appearing to criticize Baldoni.

Back in April 2024, Lively sent Swift a text containing a link to the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, which featured her song “My Tears Ricochet.”

“Wow, I love how they use the song,” Swift replied. “Welcome to Hollywood, Justin.”

They then went further to dissect the kind of message the song would pass across to viewers.

“If Justin was strategic,/He would be like no Taylor Swift in the trailer/Because that gives you more power over the film, that’s your ally, not his,” Swift wrote.

Lively responded: “You are so right. And so wickedly smart to call it. He should’ve run from your music. I never thought about that. But holys(asterisk)(asterisk)t. How stupid. This was his only shot at having the appearance of an upper hand.”

The Actress’s Lawyer Says Her Text Messages With Taylor Swift Are Not Relevant To The Case

Lively’s attorney, Sigrid McCawley, has weighed in on the situation, saying whatever she discussed with Swift is not relevant, and that she has done “everything she can to protect her friends from not being brought into that.”

“What’s relevant is her claims that she was sexually harassed in the workplace and the witnesses that were there to see that,” McCawley said.

Meanwhile, Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman continues to maintain that the “Another Simple Favor” actress’s accusations are “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious,” adding that she used the lawsuit to fix her “negative reputation.”

Freedman added that while his client, Baldoni, and Lively filmed “It Ends With Us,” she made “multiple demands and threats,” which included “threatening to not show up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately.”

Lively and Baldoni are expected to testify when they go to face trial later this year. However, his lawyer, Jonathan Bach, recently reviewed the case, saying it is more of a “creative disagreement rather than misconduct,” per People Magazine.

“This is a case about making a movie, one with highly charged romantic and sexual themes,” Bach told the court, noting that an intimacy coordinator was available on set. “The book called for sexy scenes.”
