Walkers has launched two new crisp flavours, and snack fans appear to be loving them.

Already spotted in supermarkets such as Morrisons, the popular snack food company has added two new flavours to its baked range for shoppers to enjoy.

Considered a slightly ‘healthier’ option to regular crisps, Walkers baked range boasts 50 per cent less fat than other Walkers crisps.

Here’s what you need to know about the new product launch.

Snackers can now tuck into two new flavours: Walkers Slow Roasted Beef and Walkers Sun Dried Tomato & Basil crisps.

Both are part of Walkers’ baked range, meaning the crisps are baked in the oven rather than fried.

The brand’s baked range was actually introduced back in 2006, meaning this year marks a decade since the snacks entered the market.

The two new flavours join more traditional ones such as cheese & onion, sea salt, salt & vinegar, prawn cocktail, and cheese & jalapeño.

A number of social media groups also track the release of new food products on the UK market, with followers expressing excitement about trying the new baked crisps.

“Beef ones are addictive,” wrote one happy customer, while another added: “these look nice.”

Crisp fans also noted that the Walkers logo had been slightly updated on the new crisp packaging.

Elsewhere on social media, however, some crisps fans demanded that the brand launch different flavours instead, with one person writing: “We need Roast Chicken and Smoky Bacon!”

First opened as a butchers shop in 1881, businessman Henry Walker turned to potato crisps in 1948 and quickly started growing the brand into a popular household name.

In the 1960s, Walkers introduced its first flavoured crisps, and the rest is history. Today, Walkers remains one of the most familiar snack brands on shop shelves.

It’s not just the new Walkers flavours that crisps fans can look forward to this year.

Rumours suggest that KP Snacks is planning to bring back its iconic Skips salt & vinegar flavour later this year.

Coming in at £1.35, the nostalgic flavours are expected to return to supermarket shelves from March 2026.
