Mother Nature handed a gift to Charles Bediako and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Bediako, who was granted a temporary restraining order that allowed the former NBA G-League player to play college basketball at Alabama on Saturday, was supposed to appear in court this week. But due to the fierce winter storm that tore through the United States over the weekend, NCAA attorney Taylor Askew was unable to attend the hearing in Tuscaloosa County, according to court documents obtained by Tuscaloosa Patch reporter Ryan Phillips
Bediako’s temporary restraining order was extended for 10 days, giving him more time before he has to go back to court and seek a preliminary injunction.
Bediako played in Alabama’s 79-73 loss to Tennessee on Saturday, scoring 13 points in front of the home crowd at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa.
