The ‘No. 3 NBA Draft picks’ quiz

The Houston Rockets faced elimination for the second-consecutive time without Kevin Durant in Game 5 of their First Round series against the Lakers. For the second-consecutive time, the Rockets survived.

Behind 22 points from Jabari Smith Jr., 18 from Tari Eason and a  clutch sequence from Reed Sheppard in the fourth quarter, the Rockets sent the series back to Houston with a 99-93 victory.

The Rockets may have regained their pulse, but the task of reverse-sweeping the Lakers from down 3-0 in the series remains tall. The Lakers got 22 points (albeit on 4-of-16 shooting) and six assists in 34 minutes from Austin Reaves in his Game 5 return from his oblique injury, while Durant is still expected to be sidelined in Game 6 with his ankle issue.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. In his fourth season after being drafted third-overall in 2022, Smith had a career year this season with 15.8 points and 6.9 rebounds-per-game. With that being said, can you name the No. 3 NBA Draft picks in the Lottery Era?

    Good luck!
