The ‘MLB active RBI leaders’ quiz

The New York Yankees led all of baseball with 274 home runs in the 2025 regular season, but against Logan Webb and the San Francisco Giants on 2026 Opening Day, they showed another side of their offense.

New York scored seven runs on 10 hits, none of which left the yard and only one went for extra bases (a Trent Grisham second-inning triple). Giancarlo Stanton – who said he couldn’t “ open a bag of chips,” this spring – showed encouraging signs by knocking two singles, driving in one run and scoring from second on a single himself.

With two-time reigning MVP Aaron Judge joining Stanton in 2022 and Oswaldo Cabrera in 2023 as the only Yankees to strikeout four times on Opening Day, the rest of the offense jumping on an ace like Webb should be a warning sign for the rest of baseball.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. The RBI was the 1,170th of Stanton’s now 17-year career. With that being said, can you name the active MLB players with at least 700 RBIs in their career?

    Good luck!
