The ’30-point NBA games by a teenager’ quiz

It may have come in a loss to the surging Charlotte Hornets, but Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg set an NBA  record for a teenager by scoring 49 points in the 123-121 defeat.

The 2025 first-overall draft pick shot 20-of-29 and 3-for-5 from three in a battle with his former Duke roommate (and current rival for Rookie of the Year Kon Knueppel) who scored 34 points of his own for Charlotte.

After the game, former Hornet and current Maverick PJ Washington took to social media to make it clear who he thinks should take home the hardware recognizing the top rookie this season.

“ROY,” he simply captioned a picture of Flagg following the game.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Thursday night was the fourth time the freshly-19 year old Flagg eclipsed 30 points in an NBA game, already good for eighth all-time by a teenager. With that being said, how many of the players to score 30 points in an NBA game before turning 20 years old can you name in six minutes?

    Good luck!
