World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler didn’t win the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but he had the most impressive round of golf by far.

Heading into the final round of the four-round tournament on Sunday, Scheffler trailed then-leader Akshay Bhatia by eight shots. The 29-year-old closed that gap and nearly won Pebble Beach for the first time in his career.

Scottie Scheffler had a whale of a final round at Pebble Beach

Scheffler shot an outstanding 9-under-par 63 on Sunday. His best shot may have come on hole No. 18.

Scheffler’s ball flew 186 yards through the wind onto the green. He then nailed a three-foot putt, which gave him his third eagle of the day. According to Ryan Young of Yahoo Sports, he became the first golfer in the last four decades to make that many eagles in a round at Pebble Beach.
