    A clip from “Big Brother” 27 showing Mickey Lee, the contestant who suddenly passed after a “series of cardiac arrests” on Christmas Day, speaking about her mortality is circulating on social media. In July 2025, a conversation Lee had with other contestants about a palm reading she received from cast member Ava Pearl, in which Pearl stated that Lee’s “lifeline” was short, was captured from the show’s live feeds. The resurfaced clip has sent a wave of sadness through the “Big Brother” community, as fans and alumni continue to grapple with the tragic loss.

    Former ‘Big Brother’ Star Mickey Lee Seen Speaking About Her Mortality Months Before Passing

    A moment from the “Big Brother” 27 live feeds is sparking an emotional response among “BB” community members. In the clip, Lee is captured joking with other cast members about a palm reading she received from Pearl, during which Pearl reportedly expressed concerns about Lee’s “lifeline.” The season’s winner, Ashley Hollis, was also in the video and stated that Lee asked Pearl whether her observation meant she was “going to die” soon. As the clip went on, the group of houseguests laughed among themselves about the situation before wondering whether Pearl’s reading was accurate.

    Lee Died On Christmas Morning After Suffering Complications From The Flu

    According to a previous report from The Blast, Lee died on Christmas morning after suffering complications from the flu and having a “series of cardiac arrests.”

    “Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike,” a post from her family stated. “She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen.”

    Fans React To The Resurfaced Clip Of Lee Speaking With Cast Members About Death

    Days before her tragic passing, a GoFundMe was created for Lee, detailing that the sudden medical emergencies had placed a financial strain on the reality TV personality.

    In the family’s update post, they asked for respect and privacy as they mourn the loss of their loved one. “Mickey’s light, legacy, and impact will never be forgotten,” they said.

    Online, “Big Brother” fans have begun sharing their reactions to the resurfaced clip, expressing their sadness over the sudden loss.

    “This is so devastating,” someone wrote, while another posted, “This is wild in hindsight.”

    “Oh my gosh… them talking about ava saying mickey’s palm had a short lifeline is so eerie to watch now,” another user wrote, while a fourth shared, “This clip is so eerie… the fact that they’re all laughing about it because they don’t know what’s to come, the fact that Ava was RIGHT… this is just insane to wrap my head around.”

    Julie Chen Pays Her Respects To Former ‘Big Brother’ Star

    According to The Blast, Julie Chen, host of “Big Brother,” expressed deep grief over Lee’s sudden passing in an Instagram tribute post. Chen explained that she interviewed Lee on an episode of her faith-based podcast, “God 101,” and during their conversation, Lee revealed that she was “born with a hole in her heart.”

    “Last night God brought her home,” Chen continued. “Rest In Peace dear Mickey. I will see you again on the other side in eternity. I pray the good Lord comforts and heals your family and loved ones as we grieve your passing. Amen.”

    Other ‘BB’ Stars Pay Tribute To Lee

    Season 27 contestant Jimmy Heagerty also posted a tribute online, highlighting Lee’s tremendous ability to command attention with her infectious personality. “This is how I’ll remember Mickey: someone who was silly, who smiled and laughed, but importantly, someone who always cared,” he captioned his post of the two of them posing for the camera. “Mickey, my heart is absolutely broken. During #bb27 you were my first friend, my first #1, and my OG ride or die,” he said. “What we built wasn’t just a game relationship, it was real, and it mattered.”

    Hollis also shared a post online, denying that she and the late TV personality had any personal issues. “I posted [a screenshot of our text conversation] because y’all continue to bash me saying I never liked mickey but that’s a lie….. I had nothing to gain from reaching out to her a few weeks ago, but peace of mind and a hope for rekindling. I can’t believe Mickey is really gone,” she wrote.
