Record Heat Grips Parts of Europe

Heat records in parts of Western Europe have been smashed, with weather agencies describing the spring heat wave as “unprecedented” and “remarkable.”

“It’s quite intense. It feels a little early for it to be this hot.” “We always want good weather, and then as soon as it gets hot, everyone tends to complain, me included. But I thinking about actually maybe getting an AC unit because the bedrooms at night time are quite unbearable.” “Well I’m working in the kitchen, so it’s atrocious. A couple of days, will be cold again. It’s English weather — hot and cold.”
