    Melissa McCarthy has left fans in awe as she showed off her slimmed-down body while attending the 7th Annual Daytime Beauty Awards at Grand Venue in Los Angeles on Sunday.

    The comedian, who has been flooding her social media page with posts about her family life and hobbies, has been faced with rumors of using weight loss drugs like ozempic on her weight loss journey.

    Melissa McCarthy Shows Off Slimmed Down Look

    Melissa McCarthy has seemingly been putting in the work as she stunned fans with her slimmer look during an appearance at the industry beauty event over the weekend.

    At some point, the “Identity Thief” actress took the stage and looked noticeably slimmer in a cropped blazer paired with matching tight-fitted pants.

    She slayed the look as she styled her chocolate brown hair in bouncy curls for the event. The 55-year-old star has lost about 75 pounds since she embarked on her weight loss journey. According to reports, her recent outing indicates she has lost another 20 pounds.

    While she has previously been open about her weight struggles and her efforts to live a healthier life through diet and exercise, her new look has prompted rumors that she resorted to ozempic to shed the pounds.

    Ozempic, which is used to treat type 2 diabetes, has gained notoriety in Hollywood for its ability to tip the scale downward.

    The Star Looked ‘Unrecognizable’ In An Instagram Post

    In a previous romantic Instagram post, McCarthy shared with her husband Ben Falcone. Fans praised her transformation, with many claiming they hardly recognized the actress.

    “You lost so much weight, you look great !!! You were always cuteee cos you were funny, but now I see your real face girrrrrl you fineeee I love those dimples too.”

    “Wow, I hardly recognized Melissa, she’s lost so much weight,” another added.

    A third person commented, “So proud of you!! Makes me keep continuing my journey, thank you!!! You Rock!! Miss Rockstar!!”

    “You look good girl!!! And you both are knee-slapping funny,” another fan said, while praising the actress and her husband’s comedy skills.

    Melissa McCarthy Reveals The Method She Adopted To Lose Weight

    Although she has yet to address the rumors, the “Tammy” actress previously revealed the diets and methods she adopted to lose weight.

    According to People Magazine, she admitted to using an all-liquid diet but had to reconsider because of how it affected her body.

    “I’d never do that again. I felt starved and crazy half the time,” she told the news outlet at the time.

    As time went by, she continued to shed the pounds but explained that she started loosening up about her regimen to avoid overanalyzing her actions.

    “I finally said [to myself], ‘Oh, for God sake, stop worrying about it,’ and it may be the best thing I’ve ever done,” she said during an appearance on CBS, per the Daily Mail. “I truly stopped worrying about [my weight].”

    “I stopped overanalyzing, overthinking, overdoing anything,” she added. “I just stopped constantly being worried about it, and I think there’s something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked.”

    Back in June, the “Spy” actress shared a rare photo of her lookalike daughter, Vivian Falcone, dressed in a beautiful gown to go to prom.

    In the snapshot, the 18-year-old modeled a corseted gown and ruffled skirt with blue and white lace and floral details. Vivian accessorized with a gold pendant necklace and her auburn waves.

    “Thank you to @sherrihill @realkarahall @dandridesigns for making Viv’s prom dreams come true,” McCarthy wrote in the caption, per the Daily Mail.

    The Actress Previously Posted  Throwback Photos Of Her Daughter

    The sweet prom photo came after the actress celebrated her daughter’s 18th birthday back in May.

    At the time, the Oscar nominee shared a throwback photo of her daughter when she was very young, wearing a tunic and an adult cap.

    “Eighteen years ago, this wonderful creature came into my life and taught me what true kindness and empathy and the importance of being really weird means,” she wrote.

    “I’m so lucky to be your mama. You make the world better!!! Xoxooxoooxoxo,” she added.
