Hollywood star Jessica Alba seems determined to embrace a new chapter after her divorce.

Just four days after her ex-husband, Cash Warren, filed to finalize their split, the actress shared a motivational post on her Instagram account, where she spoke about focusing on “forward momentum” this year.

Since their split, Jessica Alba has begun a new relationship with actor Danny Ramirez, and the two have been spotted together publicly on multiple occasions.

The Actress Intends To Focus on ‘Forward Momentum’ This Year

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Jessica Alba shared a carousel of photos and videos, ranging from a picture of her younger self to inspirational posts, along with a gorgeous selfie that highlighted her glowing skin.

However, the caption drew the most attention, as Alba reflected on lessons from the past year and shared her hopes for the new Lunar Year.

“Entering the Year of the Horse feeling ready, grounded and grateful for where I stand, for the path that led me here, and for all that’s still to come,” the 44-year-old wrote.

“The past year – Year of the Snake – was all about shedding and releasing what no longer serves. Facing hard truths. Making meaningful changes,” the actress further remarked.

According to Alba, her focus for the new year was “forward momentum,” which she described as “moving with intention, trusting (the universe) the ride, and leaning into this year with courage.”

“It doesn’t need to be perfect, just start what you’ve been sitting with for so long – that inner knowing. This is your moment. Take action. Year of the Horse, I’m ready,” the actress concluded.

Alba’s message comes four days after her ex-husband, Cash Warren, moved to finalize their divorce.

The filed documents revealed that neither party is contesting the divorce, and there won’t be any payment of spousal support, per People Magazine.

The duo was married for 16 years, during which they welcomed daughters Honor Marie, 17, and Haven Garner, 14, as well as son Hayes Alba, 8.

At the time of their split, “irreconcilable differences” were cited as the reason. Sources who later spoke with US Weekly revealed that the former couple had deep trust issues that led to the marriage hitting the rocks despite initially trying to make things work.

“They have tried therapy and have worked out past issues over the years,” an insider told the outlet. “There were trust issues in the past, which led to many arguments. … The marriage ran its course. Their communication hadn’t been great.”

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, while the ex-couple has decided against spousal support payments, Alba has agreed to pay Warren $3 million to balance their shared assets, which includes a a $10 million Beverly Hills mansion they acquired in 2017.

The actress is expected to make the payments in two non-taxable installments: $1.5 million now and the other half in 2027.

At the start of their short divorce process, Alba, who popular divorce lawyer Laura Wasser represents, asked for her maiden name to be restored. That request has also been granted amid their settlement.

On Christmas Eve, Alba’s ex, Warren, also shared a post that contained his reflection about the past year.

“You started out as the year I wanted to forget, but so damn thankful you grew into the year I’ll always remember,” Warren captioned the post, seemingly referencing his split from Alba.

“A few lessons I learned over last 365 days,” he added. “Acceptance is suffering’s antidote. Our minds are the OG algorithm. Negative thoughts will play on repeat if you allow them to[.] The line between enlightenment and narcissism is razor-thin. Don’t be fooled by those who don’t know the difference.”

Like Alba, Warren included a carousel of photos in the post, many of which featured moments with his family.

Since splitting, Alba and Warren have both moved on to new partners.

Alba is dating actor Danny Ramirez, and the actress hasn’t been shy about showing off their relationship publicly. The pair were recently spotted packing on the PDA during a beach outing just days ago.

Meanwhile, Warren is seeing model Hana Sun Doerr and has also been making public appearances with her.

Despite the age gap in both relationships, neither Alba nor Warren is said to have any issues with it. Sources also claimed that the former couple is reportedly glad they have both moved on to new partners.

“The age difference [with their younger partners] is not a big deal,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “They think it’s common in Hollywood, so there’s no issue. They are cool with each other dating.”

“They’re happy for each other,” the source added. “There’s no negativity or bad feelings. They’re still good friends and just want each other to be happy. And they aren’t judging each other.”
