Aniston opened up about her downtime schedule in a new interview, revealing that she prioritized resting whenever her career got too demanding. She noted that she planned her relaxation days on her calendar and would tell her team:

“‘I’m going to take off. I’m going to have a vacation. There’s going to be no work.'”

Aniston explained that resting was important because overworked people tend to exhibit their worst behaviors. “If we’re running on fumes because we are working too hard and not giving ourselves the opportunity to refuel our bodies mentally and physically, we’re useless,” she stressed.

The Blast covered Aniston’s desire to hit the big stage, reporting that she had mixed feelings about the career move. Although she was excited about starring in a Broadway production, Aniston confessed that the idea was also scary.

“I haven’t done theatre yet because it terrifies me, but it’s the one thing I haven’t tried besides making an album, which I doubt I’ll do!” Aniston said. She noted that her love for theatre stemmed from her childhood in New York City, revealing that she grew up watching performers on stage.

Although Aniston found fame through “Friends,” not being in the spotlight did not mean she would compromise her values. The Blast shared that she retold the tale of how she initially turned down an offer to host “Saturday Night Live.”

Although Aniston’s memory of the incident wasn’t fuzzy, she still recalled essential details of what transpired between her and “SNL” creator Lorne Michaels. She noted that she had a meeting with the producer in New York City, where she bumped into longtime pal, Adam Sandler.

Aniston explained that she turned down Michaels’ offer because she believed women were treated poorly on the sketch comedy show. She recalled telling him that she wouldn’t mind hosting the program if it wasn’t such a boys’ club.

Despite her initial thoughts about “SNL,” Aniston eventually hosted the show in 1999 and 2004, amid the height of her fame from “Friends.” Years later, the spotlight has proven to be a pain for the actress thanks to the growing use of artificial intelligence.

The Blast reported that Aniston slammed those using Deepfakes to promote their content using her image and likeness. She explained that her friends would always spot these false advertisements and send them to her.

Whenever she received these reports, Aniston sent a cease-and-desist letter through her attorneys. “It’s just such a runaway train,” she said about A.I.’s growing popularity, blaming the tech moguls who profit from it.
