In a Los Angeles courtroom this week, a former ally accused the actress of attempting to weaponize fan loyalty during the darkest days of her breakup.

The testimony, filled with claims of revenge tactics, reputational threats, and escalating hostility, unfolded as a judge considered whether a restraining order against Evans should remain in place.

The most dramatic moment came from Linda Blank, who once managed a Facebook fan group dedicated to Alice Evans but now supports Gruffudd.

Taking the stand, Blank described how her loyalty shifted after reviewing court filings connected to earlier legal battles.

She testified that in the aftermath of the separation, Evans provided Gruffudd’s home address and pushed for retaliation.

“Alice gave us Ioan’s address and encouraged us and other people to send him a bag of dog excrement,” Blank told the court per the Daily Mail.

According to her account, the goal was to paint the actor as heartless for moving on with Bianca Wallace while Evans remained with their two daughters.

The claim emerged as Gruffudd seeks to renew a domestic violence restraining order against Evans.

The pair separated in 2021 and finalized their divorce in 2023, but their legal disputes have continued over finances and custody of their daughters, Ella and Elsie.

Blank’s testimony framed the alleged fan mobilization as part of a broader pattern of retaliation during a period of emotional upheaval.

The court also heard claims that Alice Evans discussed undermining her ex-husband’s public image.

Blank recounted conversations in which the actress allegedly suggested she could tarnish his standing in Hollywood.

According to the testimony, Evans claimed “she knew how to ruin his career. She could do things to make him look bad in public.”

Blank further alleged that the “102 Dalmatians” star talked about spreading accusations involving “sex workers and cocaine,” and even said she “purposely bounced 20 checks to the water company because it would ruin his credit.”

Gruffudd has accused his ex-wife of engaging in ongoing “harassment and abuse” toward him and Wallace, whom he married last year. The couple welcomed a daughter, Mila, in November.

The accusations presented this week are central to whether the existing restraining order, first granted in 2022, will remain in effect.

Wallace also featured prominently in the testimony. Blank told the court that Evans’ anger extended beyond her former husband.

“She wanted her deported,” Blank said, alleging that Evans believed prolonging divorce proceedings could complicate Wallace’s immigration situation if she remained in the United States beyond 90 days without a Green Card.

An email presented in court included Evans writing, “These two people ruined my life – I want her (Wallace) chastised online.”

Blank acknowledged that she initially sided with Evans when Gruffudd announced his relationship in October 2021.

However, after reading legal documents tied to the restraining order, she reconsidered.

“I realized that all these bad things Alice said about Ioan were not true,” she testified, adding, “I felt misled and hurt by Alice because I believed all this bad stuff about Ioan that wasn’t true.”

She later shut down Evans’ fan group and distanced herself from it.

Under cross-examination, Alice Evans’ attorney, Janina Verano, pressed Blank about her own involvement.

Blank admitted she had requested Gruffudd’s address from Evans because she intended to “report Bianca for animal abuse.”

That detail introduced a more complicated dynamic between Evans and her former supporter. Blank also acknowledged that during a March 2024 email exchange, “Alice did not say anything disparaging about Ioan or Bianca.”

The defense appeared focused on demonstrating that emotions ran high on multiple sides and that loyalties within online fan communities shifted over time.

Blank herself conceded that she had once bought into what Alice was telling her, before later changing her perspective.

The judge is expected to rule on whether the restraining order will be renewed before proceedings move into a second phase focused on financial support, another deeply contested issue between the former spouses.

Beyond the dramatic accusations, the trial carries significant financial stakes.

Evans says she is struggling and has asked the court to increase the $1,500 per month she receives in spousal support, along with the $3,000 per month designated for child support for their daughters, Ella and Elsie.

Gruffudd is pushing back. He wants spousal support terminated, citing what he describes as “persistent” abuse and violations of the prior restraining order. He also claims he has already “overpaid” Evans by nearly $400,000.

Adding further tension, Gruffudd has alleged that the girls have been “poisoned and alienated” against him.

As testimony concludes and a ruling looms, the allegations aired in court have intensified scrutiny around Alice Evans.
