Grief doesn’t follow a script, and neither does healing in the public eye.

Months after an unimaginable loss, Emilie Kiser is carefully navigating life, motherhood, and online scrutiny.

As she returned to social media during the holidays, one question from a follower sparked a conversation, prompting Emilie to speak directly about family, love, and how they are moving forward together.

Emilie Kiser Shares A Quiet Christmas With Family

As the holiday season arrived, Emilie gave followers a gentle glimpse into how her family marked Christmas after the tragic loss of her son, Trigg.

In a Dec. 28 TikTok upload, the content creator documented a low-key holiday spent in California with her extended family, husband Brady Kiser, and their younger son Teddy.

The video followed Emilie through everyday moments that felt intentionally calm.

She showed shopping trips, breakfast with siblings, needlepoint projects, and a movie outing.

There were no grand celebrations or forced cheer, just fragments of togetherness during a season that looked very different from years past.

This return to posting marked another step in Emilie’s gradual re-entry to social media after months of stepping back following Trigg’s drowning.

A Question That Sparked Online Reactions

Not long after the video went live, a comment appeared that shifted the conversation.

One follower questioned how Emilie Kiser’s family felt about her husband Brady in the wake of the tragedy, writing, “How does your family deal with your husband? Are they polite? Are they angry? What are their feelings? They probably don’t even show their feelings.”

The comment quickly drew responses from other viewers who felt it crossed a line.

One person replied in defense of the family, saying, “This comment was so unnecessary. Hope you all had a lovely Xmas em.”

The exchange highlighted the challenges Emilie faces while sharing pieces of her life online.

Even as she documents moments of healing, she continues to encounter deeply personal questions from strangers trying to make sense of her family’s grief.

Rather than ignoring the comment, Emilie chose to address it herself.

She responded directly, offering clarity and shutting down speculation about tension within her family.

“My entire family loves him so so much,” she wrote. “If anything their unwavering love for him and Trigg, is something that has helped us so much to come together as a family.”

Her words reframed the narrative that some online observers had begun to imagine.

Instead of anger or blame, Emilie emphasized unity and compassion, making it clear that Brady remains fully supported by those closest to her.

The response resonated with many followers, who praised her honesty and strength.

It also underscored how grief can bring families closer, even as outsiders attempt to interpret the unthinkable from afar.

Emilie Kiser Opens Up About A Difficult Holiday

In another video shared on Dec. 27, Emilie spoke candidly to the camera about how her family approached the holidays this year.

She explained that she didn’t want to “force” a sense of normalcy, acknowledging that there was nothing normal about their situation.

She went further, describing the season in blunt terms and admitting it had been a “terrible” Christmas.

The honesty struck a chord with viewers who recognized the courage it takes to name pain without softening it for the sake of appearances.

Since returning to social media in September after a lengthy hiatus, Emilie’s content has reflected this balance between routine and raw emotion.

Alongside day-in-the-life vlogs, she has allowed space for grief, letting followers see that healing doesn’t move in a straight line.

Moving Forward One Day At A Time

On Christmas Eve, Emilie shared one of her most personal videos yet, offering a rare glimpse of Brady as they prepared for a holiday road trip.

The video captured quiet moments, showing Emilie waking up, turning on the Christmas tree lights, getting Teddy out of his crib, packing clothes, preparing medication, and making a bottle.

Toward the end, Brady appeared briefly as he loaded suitcases into their truck, wearing a brown sweatsuit and baseball hat.

It was his first appearance in her content since Trigg’s death, and the moment felt understated rather than performative.

Emilie closed the vlog by showing her “outfit of the night” as the family prepared to meet relatives for dinner.

The caption read, “Hope you all have a safe holiday, and as always, thank you for the love, support, and kind words. They mean the world, always.”

As Emilie Kiser continues to share pieces of her life, she does so with intention and care.

Her message remains consistent and shows that healing is personal, family is foundational, and love, even in grief, can be a powerful force forward.
