Cardi B is busier than ever. Her current sold-out Little Miss Drama tour is thrilling her fans across the US, but as the tour winds down, she is embarking on a new business venture that has been years in the making.

Following a highly successful preview launch that sold out in just an hour, Cardi’s hair care line Grow-Good is officially launching for everyone to try.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE ahead of Grow-Good’s April 15 launch, Cardi B shared why she decided the time was right to enter the hair care industry and her own hair care journey.

“The aha moment when I felt like I needed my own brand [was] when I kept seeing people try … the mask that I keep doing to grow my hair,” Cardi said of her decision to create Grow-Good.

The Grammy winner had her legion of fans, affectionately dubbed the Bardi Gang, begging for her to share her natural hair mask that she would frequently use while on Instagram live.

“Everybody [was talking] about [it] working on all of them. I’m like, ‘I need to do it, everybody’s asking me for it, I might as well just go for it.’ It’s like, you know what? Let’s go [on] this hair journey with each other,” she recalled.

While known for her countless hits, chart-topping records, and haute couture fashions, Cardi is also known for sharing her natural hair journey. “It had to make sense, it [had] to be very on my brand,” she said.

As for why she chose the name Grow-Good, the mother of four explained that she wants to redefine what it means to have “good hair.”

“Growing up, we always hear like, ‘Oh, she got that good hair. She got that good hair.’ What does that mean? … They wasn’t talking about my hair,” Cardi told PEOPLE. “So I want people to know that we’re growing our hair good.”

“Just because you got, like, slick hair or like a certain type of texture hair, it doesn’t mean that it’s growing good,” she continued. “A lot of women, you have a certain type of hair texture, but it’s thin, it breaks, it’s damaged. What’s the point of having a hair texture and your sh-t is damaged? It’s not growing good. So, it’s like we’re going to grow that hair good, whatever texture it is, it doesn’t matter.”

In a March 2026 interview with Allure, Cardi admitted that the stakes for Grow-Good may be higher than releasing music.

“People are gonna buy my sh-t just off my name, but are you gonna come back?” she hypothetically asked during the interview. “It’s about coming back.”

“A bad song is not gonna f-k up your life,” Cardi said candidly. “Imagine you put some sh-t into your hair, and you damage it, and I’m responsible?!”

Grow-Good launches with two shampoos (Wash Cycle Shampoo, Wash Cycle+ Shampoo), two conditioners (Soft Serve Conditioner, Soft Serve+ Conditioner), the Get Rich Hydrating Hair Mask, and the Everything Serum.

Per TMZ, Offset reportedly obtained a court order to conduct a paternity test on Cardi B’s newborn son with NFL star Stefon Diggs, whom she welcomed in September 2025, almost a year after the former couple split.

The Migos member obtained the court order on February 25 to test the Grammy winner’s infant son. However, a judge denied his paternity request for the former couple’s youngest daughter, Blossom.

According to the outlet, the baby’s name involved in the paternity test was not mentioned, and birth dates were not indicated, but the document did refer to a “newborn” as the subject of the test.

News of Offset’s shooting inside a Florida casino spread like wildfire, as the long-standing rumors of his gambling addiction and the consequences of not paying his debts appeared to be confirmed.

However, many fans wanted to know if Cardi reached out to her ex-husband to inquire about his injuries and recuperation, and according to TMZ, she did.
