Bobbi Althoff Breaks Silence On Podcast Comeback & ‘Mormon Wives’ Role

Bobbi Althoff is officially stepping into her comeback era with multiple exciting projects. After briefly sharing that “The Really Good Podcast” will be circling back after nearly a year of being dark, she finally broke her silence on TikTok explaining why the time is right to start it up again.

Shortly after announcing the return of her once popular podcast, the plot twist that likely no one saw coming has everyone talking – Althoff has been confirmed as one of the cast members on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” spinoff.

For Bobbi Althoff, who’s known for making waves online with her dry humor, emotional rants, and interesting celebrity interviews, her return into the spotlight is anything but low key or average.

A few days after it was announced that Althoff is going to be part of the new “Mormon Wives” spinoff that takes place in Orange County, California, she’s briefly addressing the news. This news comes right after the podcast host announced on social media that she’s bringing her once popular podcast, “The Really Good Podcast” back from a nearly year-long hiatus.

During a “Get Unready With Me” video on TikTok, Althoff gave some insight into the current state of her professional life. After explaining that she just did some press with Suki for their podcast, “That’s BS with Bobbi & Suki,” she said she would start with “The Really Good Podcast” news.

For anyone who needed a refresher on why “The Really Good Podcast” disappeared, Althoff explained her thought process.

“I got rid of it. I’m sure you guys are like, why are you saying you’re recording episodes of it if you got rid of it? Because I did get rid of it for a long time and I tried to start ‘Not This Again’ but honestly, ‘Not This Again’ just didn’t work,” she said.

“‘Not This Again’ was supposed to just be like a way to make it exciting but I ended up, the reason I started ‘The Really Good Podcast’ was just it was supposed to be low effort, but at some point, it just became something that was not exciting and just something I wasn’t able to stay consistent with.”

‘Not This Again’ Didn’t Quite Work Out As She Hoped’ But ‘That’s BS With Bobbi & Suki’ Is Going Strong

She said in the past month, she started to record for “The Really Good Podcast” once again despite being “embarrassed” to continue “Not This Again” and have it fail. Althoff said she felt like “it was a mistake” to stop “The Really Good Podcast” and while she thought “Not This Again” would do better, “it didn’t.”

“I decided a month ago to say f-ck it, I’m giving up on that [‘Not This Again’],” she said. “I’m going back to ‘The Really Good Podcast’ and I’m going back to the low effort, just conversation kind of thing that I had going on with ‘The Really Good Podcast.’”

She said that so far, she’s recorded four episodes and has some more planned. What can fans expect? She’s filming in her kitchen, and it won’t be a big production. So far she’s filmed with Sexxy Red, Josh Peck, Juicy J, and Luisa Sonza, and she has more scheduled.

And if you’re a fan of “That’s BS with Bobbi & Suki,” there’s no need to worry. The two friends plan to keep that podcast going strong even with all of Althoff’s new ventures on the horizon. Althoff said, “it’s going well” and revealed that they are in the process of “getting our website done, we’re getting our own YouTube channel done” and plan to get episodes up regularly.

At the end of her TikTok video, she touched on the big news that recently dropped about her being part of the “Mormon Wives” spinoff series in Orange County.

“I can’t say that when I was watching that show that I ever thought that I would be on it, but the opportunity came and presented itself to me, and I’m really excited for it,” she said, just as her video ended, leaving fans wanting more inside info and not getting it.

One viewer called her out in the comments, “Girllll, you said nothing hahahaha, we need to know more about SLMW.” Another viewer shared, “I cannot wait for SLOMW!! Been here after Richard and before Concrete.” (For anyone who’s been following Althoff on TikTok since her early days, they’ll understand the reference. For those who found Bobbi after her fame hit, she used to call her daughters Richard and Concrete in her funny TikTok videos.)

‘You’re The Only Reason I’ll Be Watching’

Some commenters focused on the podcast news and others wanted more details about the new show. And then there were a few that just had kind words to share.

“I can’t wait to watch,” one person wrote. Another said, “You’re the only reason I’ll be watching.” One other viewer shared, “Ur the only person that I was like I know here. I’ll watch it.”

As for positive thoughts about the video itself, one viewer shared, “We all fail sometimes. You set a goal and you were proactive about it. That is incredible.” Another added, “The biggest lesson I’ve learned is growing through failures.” One other kept the theme going and wrote, “You live and you learn. Never feel bad for chasing your dreams or even starting over cause you are still finding your way.”
