Ashley Tisdale is receiving more heat as a mean girl and has been slammed for being “extremely rude” by lawyer Michael Parker, for her interaction with his client following an auto crash.

At the time, Parker’s client, Lina Gonzalez, claimed Tisdale had an uncooperative attitude from the get-go and made her fear for her “safety” as she tried to dismiss the accident.

It comes after Ashley Tisdale came under fire for her scathing essay on her “toxic” mom group, which allegedly included celebrities like Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and designer Samii Ryan.

Amid an ongoing media storm, Ashley Tisdale has made headlines for an alleged legal dispute that occurred between her and a woman named Lina Gonzalez after they were involved in a car crash on Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue in Los Angeles in September 2022.

Lawyer representing Gonzalez, Michael Parker, told the Daily Mail in a Friday interview that the “High School Musical” alum was “extremely rude” during her interactions with his client and seemingly didn’t want to take accountability.

At the time, Gonzalez noted that she sustained injuries to her shoulders, neck, back, and left wrist as a result of the crash, but alleged that Tisdale was dismissive about it and told her at the scene that “‘her manager’ would be in contact with her to discuss the accident.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Parker claimed that Gonzalez didn’t know Tisdale was a celebrity at the time and went ahead to sue her in 2023 after waiting to no avail.

In her filing, she claimed she’d not been contacted by Tisdale’s manager, and so she decided to share her account of the incident on social media.

“Plaintiff took to social media to post about the accident, and the displeasure of not receiving a response from Defendant or her manager,” the filing claims. “The post included photos from the accident, including the damage to the vehicles; however, no private information was revealed.”

It was then that Tisdale’s husband, Christopher French,  allegedly double-crossed her by releasing her private identifying information online, accusing her of “committing insurance fraud.”

“The spouse of Defendant took to social media and posted that Plaintiff was a ‘registered nurse who worked at Cedar Sinai,’ who ‘commit[ted] insurance fraud,'” Gonzales’ lawyer alleged in her complaint.

According to the news outlet, Parker went ahead to share that Tisdale’s husband’s action left Gonzalez feeling “very unsafe” and exposed.

“When you’re just a regular person and a celebrity has it out for you, it’s really scary – especially when they’re posting on social media, and they have millions of followers,” he shared. “There are so many psychos on the internet. Once someone’s name is out there and where they work, it’s easy to get their phone number, email, their home [address].”

The lawyer added that by doxxing his client, her name and information were already public, making her vulnerable and exposed to any “deranged fan.”

“You could just look up who sued Ashley Tisdale and say, ‘Ok, well her husband is saying this person is committing fraud, they work at this hospital, etc.’ [Lina] definitely felt her safety was in danger. I mean, she was definitely scared,” he added.

The situation got more complicated as the “Scary Movie 5” actress tried to secure a restraining order against Gonzalez, claiming she was at risk of experiencing “unwanted annoyance or embarrassment.” However, her request was denied.

The case was settled in December 2024 for an undisclosed fee, with details about the arrangement kept under lock and key.

Tisdale recently sparked backlash from her close friends after she published a searing personal essay about her decision to abandon a “toxic” group of celebrity moms, which allegedly included celebrities like Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Samii Ryan.

“I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing every way that they seemed to exclude me. At first, I tried not to take things personally,” she wrote, per The Cut.

However, when she could no longer keep up with the cold shoulders, she texted them: “This is too high school for me, and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.”

The essay has since gone viral, sparking speculation about Tisdale’s relationship with the celebrities in the group chat.

Tisdale’s team has since tried to downplay the situation as a rep told TMZ the essay wasn’t referring to the group containing Duff, Moore, Meghan Trainor, and others.

They claimed it was about the actress “being shut out of social hangs so hard from a completely different group of friends.”

Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, has since taken to social media to slam Tisdale, calling her “self-obsessed” and “tone deaf.”

Another insider called her “Insufferable” in an interview, and said that the split from her friends “has been a long time coming.”
