Angelina Jolie, 50, is reportedly selling her $25 million Los Feliz estate to embrace a quieter life across Europe, Cambodia, and New York, following her 2024 divorce from Brad Pitt.

The actress remained in Los Angeles for her six children but plans to relocate once her younger twins turn 18.

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt recently secured a court order requiring Angelina Jolie to provide previously withheld communications in their ongoing Château Miraval winery dispute.

Jolie, 50, is turning a long-held dream into reality: leaving the United States for a more private life in Europe and Cambodia.

Sources reveal the actress and humanitarian is selling her $25 million Los Feliz estate, the Cecil B. DeMille property where she has lived with her six children since 2017.

Jolie is seeking greater privacy and a slower pace, planning to divide her time between New York, home to her boutique and creative workshop, Atelier Jolie—Europe, and Cambodia, where she has owned a home since 2003, shortly after adopting her eldest son, Maddox.

“She can’t get far enough away from the drama … the only way to take a break is to get out,” said actor and producer Jae Benjamin, a longtime friend of Jolie’s, per Page Six. “She’ll go and decompress – only working on things that drive her heart, soul, and passion. She’s a wonderful, talented, and giving woman.”

The Los Feliz estate, named after legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, spans 2.1 acres and includes a main house, gardens, a pool, and a studio. Jolie has already begun actively showing the property to potential buyers.

This major move comes after a turbulent chapter in Jolie’s personal life. The actress finalized her divorce from Brad Pitt on December 30, 2024, ending eight years of legal battles, and is now looking for a fresh start away from the glare of public attention and the confines of Los Angeles.

Her children have played a central role in her decision to stay in L.A. She has six children, three adopted, Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Zahara, 20, and three biological, Shiloh, 19; twins Vivienne and Knox, 17.

Jolie remained in the city to keep her family close, but once Vivienne and Knox turn 18 on July 12, the “Maleficent” actress will be free to relocate.

“I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2024.

Although the divorce was officially settled at the end of 2024, the “Maria” actress and Pitt continue to fight over their French winery, Château Miraval.

Her decision follows years of public scrutiny and legal entanglements stemming from her divorce. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016, citing a heated incident aboard a private jet.

Pitt denied the allegations, and investigations by the FBI and Department of Child and Family Services found no evidence of wrongdoing. The children have reportedly sided with Jolie, who has been their primary caregiver.

In recent years, some of her children have begun asserting their independence and distancing themselves from the Oscar winner: Shiloh legally dropped “Pitt” from her name on her 18th birthday, Zahara introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie at her sorority induction, and Vivienne credited herself as Vivienne Jolie on a Broadway Playbill for “The Outsiders.”

Looking ahead, Jolie is excited for a life untethered from Los Angeles, planning to split her time between Cambodia, France, and parts of Africa.

“They’re all very special places. ‘She has dear friends in those areas who she considers confidantes and family,” a source told People Magazine. “She’s looking forward to 2026 and the flexibility she’ll have then.”

Meanwhile, Pitt achieved a new procedural win in his ongoing legal dispute with Jolie over their winery last December.

Court documents obtained by People reveal that a Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered Jolie to hand over previously withheld or “unredacted” communications tied to the Château Miraval case. The ruling came down on Wednesday, December 17, just one day before Pitt celebrated his 62nd birthday.

The judge approved Pitt’s motion to compel discovery, directing Jolie to provide full, unredacted versions of certain communications she had previously claimed were protected by privilege.

According to the court order, Jolie is required to produce, “in full, within 45 days of this Order, unredacted versions of the communications exchanged between non-attorneys in the 22 documents identified on Jolie’s February 14, 2025, privilege log with the Document ID numbers set forth in the Appendix to this Order.”

A source told the news outlet that Pitt’s legal team believes the emails could demonstrate that Jolie has “been disingenuous since the start regarding her true intentions about selling her share of the business to Stoli.”
