Olivia Culpo & Christian McCaffrey Expecting First Baby

Olivia Culpo is all about “Motherhood,” as she and Christian McCaffrey are expectant. The former Miss Universe and her NFL star husband took to Instagram to share a major life update in a joint post.

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey tied the knot in June last year in Rhode Island. The model said “I do” in a tastefully designed Dolce & Gabbana dress.

The pageant queen finally shared her joy with the world today, Monday, March 10th, 2025, with new sets of ethereal posts showing off her baby bump.

Culpo uploadeda first image of her looking breathtaking in a flowing pleated dress draped all over the floor. She knelt down and gently cradled her belly in one hand with the other akimbo behind her.

Culpo oozed elegance in the black and white pictures, with her luscious hair swept to the side, revealing her stunning side profile. She added a simple caption to the image, “Next chapter, motherhood,” with a white heart emoji.

In the next post, the actress uploaded a short clip of herself and her husband holding hands and kissing in a field as she gave her best preggo poses to the camera. The clip also featured behind-the-scenes content of her first image and a few cameos from their dog. She added two white emojis in the caption.

Both posts have gathered thousands of likes and comments from Culpo’s 5 million+ followers and her industry friends. Model Nazanin Mandi popped by with “congratulations” and a heart eyes emoji.”

Another commenter raved about their unborn baby, already declaring it “the most attractive baby, with the most elite genes.”

Reality star Jessie James Decker wrote: “Olivia!!! I am sooo happy for you and @christianmccaffrey!!!! You’re going to be an amazing mama. So happy,” with lots of emojis. E! star Nicole Williams English commented, “OMGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!! Screaming!!!”

“Glee” actress Lea Michele could not hide how “happy” she feels for her colleague on her new bundle of joy. Singer Demi Lovato was present in the comments with her hearty “Congratulations!!!”

Candace Owens stressed how much of a good news it is and how Culpo and her husband will make “amazing parents.” Jeannie Mai penned down the sweetest words for the model, noting: “You, my thoughtful, understanding, full of life friend, will be a phenomenal mom. Welcome to the club, Olivia.”

A fan stated how Culpo’s pregnancy offers hope to people struggling with endometriosis and asked for more details about her journey. “Casually crying on a Monday morning for u guys. Cannot wait for precious baby!” one more follower wrote.

It is definitely a dream come true for the adorable couple who could not wait to get down to making babies right after tying the knot. As shared by The Blast last year after their engagement in April, Culpo openly disclosed her intention to begin trying for kids right after exchanging marital vows.

“I feel like the day after my wedding, I’m just gonna rip out my IUD and start trying immediately,” she explained in a TikTok video. The model also intimated her fans on a quick visit to her wedding venue. Teasing the fans, she stated:

“I’m not gonna tell you where it is – yet – maybe I’ll post it later…. But I’m very excited. I got here last night.”

“It took us a really long time to figure out where we wanted to get married. We were thinking Colorado for a while ’causethat’s where Christian’s from,” Culpo explained to her fans before taking them on a visual tour of her parents’ backyard.

The movie star also admitted that she once thought marriage was never an option for her before meeting McCaffrey. She then revealed her secret to finally finding her missing rib, saying:

“Pray for your future husband,” she advised her viewers. “That’s what worked for me. I got down on my hands and knees, and I said, ‘God, please show me a better way.‘”

On her wedding day, the actress radiated joy while wearing an elegant D&G wedding dress that she designed with her husband McCarrey’s preferences in mind. 

The long-sleeve ball gown featured minimal embellishments and was paired with an impressive 16-foot veil. However, the dress received criticism from online spectators, who felt it was unflattering to her figure and not reflective of her personal style. 

Comments ranged from disappointment over its old-fashioned appearance to suggestions that more fitted and lace details would have suited her better. 

One viewer even remarked that the gown was overly poofy for a summer wedding, while another critique suggested the dress lacked imagination, claiming that even generic options from a bridal shop would have been superior.

As for Culpo, her dream wedding dress was designed to showcase the level of her commitment to her vows. She also did not intend for the dress to “exude sex in any way, shape, or form,” adding:

“I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.”

Aside from being a great wife and a soon-to-be fantastic mom, the model also proved her worth as a great wife-to-be when she stepped in to buy a suite for her then-fiance’s mom.

As shared by The Blast, the decision came after Lisa admitted on her “Your Mom” podcast that she could not afford to VIP suite to watch her son play against the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl LVIII.

After Lisa’s revelation, Matt Ampolsky, CEO of Confirmed360, shared her post on his Instagram Story, urging Culpo to “please correct them,” hinting that the actress has worked her magic around her future mother-in-law’s complaints.

In response, Culpo jokingly labeled the post as “fake news” in her own Instagram Story while also wishing Lisa a happy birthday and mentioning that she had bought her a suite.

Lisa then celebrated Culpo’s post by reposting it on her Instagram Story, adding a prayer emoji and confetti to express her excitement.
