Katy Perry is head over heels for her beau, Justin Trudeau, and wants the world to know!

The sensational singer recently took her relationship with the former Canadian Prime Minister to the next level, proudly flaunting their romance for all to see.

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau began making waves as a couple in 2025, shortly after the “Roar” hitmaker’s romance with Orlando Bloom ended last June.

Perry and Trudeau finally made their red carpet debut as a couple during the 25th Annual Tribeca Festival in New York City. They attended the premiere of Perry’s concert film on Monday, June 8, walking hand-in-hand into the venue.

Perry and Trudeau flaunted their romance for the cameras, looking head over heels for each other and unable to keep their hands to themselves. For the big day, Perry looked radiant in a floor-length white gown designed with a halter neckline and ball-like details on the neck and waist, giving a ruched and draped effect.

On the other hand, Trudeau kept it classy in a black blazer paired with matching black trousers and a crisp white button-up shirt. He skipped the formal tie, as seen in pictures shared by the Daily Mail. If their PDA did not showcase their intense feelings for each other, Perry made it clear during a Q&A session.

The Singer Raves About Her Anchor Beau

After the concert film screening, Perry was asked whether she considered herself the same person at the end of The Lifetimes Tour. She replied that she was not, claiming she felt “like a more grounded person” in different aspects of her life and had Trudeau to thank. In her words:

“I am very in love. Actually, that show was after I met the love of my life, and so I felt very anchored by that, because I’m a little bit like a rainbow kite.”

Perry explained that she is the type to “fly super high and like touch the veiled cosmos.” On that note, she frequently needed to be anchored and found the perfect match in Trudeau. “So to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now,” Perry gushed.

    The Entertainer Sparked Pregnancy Speculations

Besides marking their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival, Perry and Trudeau made waves for sparking pregnancy speculations. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the pair had confused fans with their intimate interactions at the event.

While posing for the cameras, Trudeau placed his hand on Perry’s stomach. In response, the entertainer smiled before gently moving his hand away. Although the interaction was brief, it caught the attention of several social media users, who began speculating on the reason behind Trudeau’s gesture.

Many pointed out that the way the former Canadian Prime Minister had touched Perry’s stomach felt too intimate and possibly hinted at a baby. On the other hand, some fans believed the couple was being playful and simply enjoying their red carpet debut.

A Source Shut Down The Baby Rumors

The Tribeca Festival wasn’t the first time Perry and Trudeau had sparked baby rumors. Earlier this year, the singer’s decision to wear a baggy top on an outing with her beau made some fans wonder if she had a bunch in the oven.

However, a source recently shut down the pregnancy speculations, stressing that Perry and Trudeau were not expecting a child. Although she wasn’t pregnant at the moment, having a baby with the former prime minister was allegedly not off the table.

“She’s not against it, but they are just in a euphoric honeymoon phase and enjoying life together with the children they already have from their previous relationships,” the source said about the couple. Before meeting Perry, Trudeau welcomed three children with his estranged wife, Sophie Grégoire.

Katy Perry Reportedly Has A Close Relationship With Justin Trudeau’s Son

One of Trudeau’s three children, a son named Xavier, appears to be on board with his romance with Perry. In February, The Blast shared that Xavier had opened up about his relationship with the “I Kissed a Girl” singer while talking to content creator G Hobs.

Xavier confirmed he had been introduced to Perry and gave her his approval. He raved about how cool and nice she was, recalling that they had talked for hours. Part of the conversation revolved around Xavier’s music career, with the teenager noting Perry had advised him on how to proceed.

Xavier’s approval of Perry came amid reports of her budding romance with Trudeau. Besides the pregnancy speculations, the lovebirds also faced rumors of them heading down the aisle. A source confirmed they were “smitten” with each other, with Perry’s pals allegedly dubbing Trudeau her perfect match.
