Heading into Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Montreal Canadiens and Carolina Hurricanes, Montreal is bringing two conflicting trends.

Between the regular season and playoffs, the Canadiens are 4-1 against the Hurricanes in 2025-26 after falling 3-2 in overtime of Game 2. But now the series heads north of the border where the Habs boast just a 2-4 home record so far in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with their most recent performance at the Bell Centre ending in an 8-3 loss to Buffalo.

Despite scoring twice in Game 2, Montreal mustered just 12 shots on Carolina goaltender Frederik Andersen after scoring six goals in Game 1. If they’re going to retake the lead in the series, they’ll likely need more from their stars Nick Suzuki and Cole Caulfield, both of whom failed to register a point and were a combined -2 in their 37:38 of ice time.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Caufield became the first Montreal player to score 50 goals in a single season since Stephane Richer in 1989-90. With that being said, can you name the last 50-goal-scorer for each NHL franchise?

Note: No Columbus Blue Jacket, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predator, New Jersey Devil, Seattle Kraken, Utah Mammoth player has reached the 50-goal milestone.

    Good luck!
