“I talk to Jax,” he said. “I talked to Jax last night, yeah.”

According to Bravo’s Daily Dish, Sandoval spoke with the publication in November 2025 about his relationship with Taylor, confirming that he and Taylor speak more than people likely realize.

The pair’s third musketeer, Tom Schwartz, also opened up about Taylor’s recovery process during an episode of his “Detox Retox” podcast.

“I don’t want to speak for him, because I think he’s been keeping a low profile. But I’ll say based on what I’ve seen, he’s doing really well,” Schwartz said.

“He’s very, he’s dialed in on his sobriety,” he added. “And yeah, man, he’s put a lot of work into himself. But I don’t want to say too much because he’s been purposefully keeping a low profile.”

Taylor has tried to stay out of the public eye since his controversial second season of “The Valley,” which included his aggressive behavior toward his soon-to-be ex-wife, Britany Cartwright.

Taylor announced his departure from the season shortly after the reunion concluded.

“After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley,” the father of one said. “Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself — especially for our son, Cruz.”

“I have substance issues—primarily with cocaine. It’s hard to say out loud,” he said before revealing he struggled with this battle “since I was 23 and now I’m 45.”

Taylor continued, “There were times where I would stop doing it, but then there were times where I’d go heavy on it.”

The “House of Villains” alum also discussed how difficult dealing with addiction has been.

“I’ve never said this in my life,” he said. “So, to come out and say that I have an addiction [and] that I have a sickness that I have to work on the rest of my life is a really big deal for me.”

Taylor’s Exit From ‘The Valley’ Shocked Everyone, Including His Co-Stars

Cohen commented on Taylor’s departure, according to The Blast, and called it a “good decision.”

“I think he needs to work out sh-t without cameras around,” he added.

Some of Taylor’s co-stars, meanwhile, were reportedly “blindsided” by the villainous reality star’s exit.

“They were not given any advance notifications about his exit,” a source shared. “Most of the cast were notified that filming was going to begin at the end of the summer, and they expected Jax would be a part of the new season because — even as lately as yesterday — he hadn’t said otherwise. This is a huge surprise.”

While Taylor won’t be involved in the upcoming season of “The Valley,” Bravo fans will see familiar faces.

In addition to Cartwright, Schwartz will also appear in a full-time capacity in the upcoming batch of episodes.

During a previous interview, Schwartz said his return “feels like a rebirth in the most organic way.”

“It doesn’t feel like I’m casted on a new show, you know what I mean? It feels like they just picked up cameras with a different group of friends who I all know and love,” he said.

Schwartz went on to explain how his storyline on season 3 of “The Valley” would differ from his time on “VPR.”

“I’m starting life over in my 40s, and you get to see that, how that looks,” he said. “And, also, you get to see me in the early stages of kind of falling in love, which is super intimate.”
