Meghan Markle‘s lifestyle brand, As Ever, is reportedly selling rapidly, with claims that nearly one million jars of fruit spreads were produced following strong demand.

A brief website glitch exposed large inventory levels, which seemingly reflect remaining stock from a major production run ahead of global expansion.

Meghan Markle is also reportedly planning a lifestyle cookbook for spring 2026, aligned with a broader expansion into homeware, candles, and additional products.

Meghan is reportedly turning her star power into serious commercial success, with claims that close to one million jars of her lifestyle brand’s fruit spreads have already been produced, and plans are underway to take the business worldwide.

This week, online users uncovered an apparent technical loophole on the Duchess of Sussex’s As Ever website that briefly exposed internal inventory levels.

The discovery sparked chatter across Reddit, where some users initially interpreted the large stock numbers as evidence that products weren’t selling as expected.

One item in particular, the Signature Fruit Spread gift box, appeared to show more than 137,000 units still available. But according to a new report, that figure actually represents the remaining balance from an initial production run of one million jars.

At £31 ($42) per gift box, that would put revenue from that single product line at approximately £26.7 million ($35.9 million).

A source familiar with the brand’s performance described demand as exceptionally strong, saying: “I  think it’s fair to say business isn’t just successful, it’s flying off the shelf.”

The inventory figures became visible after users attempted to add unusually large quantities of items to their shopping carts, causing the site to reveal maximum stock limits.

The method was reportedly first identified by a Reddit user who tried adding 200,000 units of multiple products at once, triggering a wave of copycat attempts.

Screenshots shared online suggested hundreds of thousands of lifestyle products, including spreads, teas, honeys, candles, and edible garnishes, were in circulation, alongside tens of thousands of wine bottles tied to the brand’s drinks venture.

If accurate, the numbers point to production volumes far beyond what many would associate with a “small-batch” operation.

Soon after the information spread, the website was quietly updated. Purchase caps were introduced, limiting customers to smaller quantities per order, and the inventory loophole was closed.

Attempts to add excessive quantities now return error messages or prompts to contact customer support for bulk purchases. The company has not publicly addressed the issue.

Meghan Markle Scales Production To Meet Global Demand Ahead Of International Brand Expansion

In a recent interview, Meghan acknowledged significantly increasing production as she prepares to expand the brand beyond the United States.

She explained that early sales repeatedly outpaced expectations, forcing the team to scale rapidly.

What began as conversations about producing a few thousand units quickly escalated into placing an order for a million jars, a milestone she described as “an incredible thing for any small business and any start-up” to Bloomberg’s “The Circuit.”

Sources suggest the large-scale production is part of a broader international rollout strategy. With strong holiday sales and continued demand, insiders believe inventory will need to grow even further once the brand launches in new markets.

However, despite the headline-grabbing revenue figures, Meghan is unlikely to pocket the full profits. Industry insiders note that proceeds are shared with business partners, including Netflix, with a significant portion also being reinvested into expanding operations.

Meanwhile, Meghan is reportedly set to publish her first book aimed at adult readers in 2026, according to new claims, though it will not be a memoir.

Instead, sources say the Duchess of Sussex is preparing a cookbook inspired by her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan.”

The project is described as lifestyle-focused, centring on food, hosting, and everyday entertaining rather than personal storytelling.

The book is expected to feature a selection of approachable recipes, including her “single skillet spaghetti,” “rainbow-themed fruit salad,” and her signature jams and marmalades.

It may also include practical advice on hosting at home, a theme that played a central role in her recent TV work.

Insiders suggest the cookbook is set for a spring 2026 release and will likely coincide with an expansion of Meghan’s As Ever brand.

That expansion is expected to go beyond food, with a stronger emphasis on candles and other homeware products.

A source quoted by the Daily Mail said Meghan is planning a broader lifestyle rollout in early 2026, combining publishing with new product launches.

“Meghan is looking at a cookbook for early 2026, and there will be more lifestyle products coming in the spring,” the insider noted.

Food will remain a core part of the brand, but the range is expected to widen significantly.
