Sophie Rain is opening up about a terrifying chapter of her life that she says completely changed her sense of safety, and left her struggling with anxiety she never experienced before fame. During a recent interview, the 23-year-old recounted an alarming incident that took place while she was living in a shared content house in Miami, one that could have turned dangerous had she been home at the time. According to Sophie Rain, a man she later learned was ruled legally insane by a judge broke into the house, forced his way into her room, and moved his belongings in, believing the two were married.

During a recent appearance on the “Full Send Podcast,” the 23-year-old creator revealed that, alongside online harassment and swatting incidents, she has also survived a real-life stalking situation that escalated into a physical break-in. “It definitely comes with the job,” Rain admitted. “I never used to be anxious. But now? My address is leaked. I don’t know what could happen.”

In fact, Rain revealed that one man, who was later ruled legally insane, broke into the house, forced his way into her bedroom, and began moving in, convinced they were already married. “He broke down the door, brought a suitcase, took all of his clothes out, and put them in my drawers,” she said. “He thought that we were married.”

Even more chilling, Rain revealed that she and others were out of town at the Super Bowl when the break-in happened. “Thank God,” she said. “We would have been home if we didn’t go.”

Rain explained that the situation was discovered when her friend Ava returned to the house after traveling.

When Ava arrived, she initially believed the man inside was a maintenance worker. But after knocking, she realized something was deeply wrong. “He said he was married to Sophie and that this was his house because he just bought it,” Rain recalled.

Ava immediately left the property and called the police. “She got back in her car and left,” Rain said. “That was the smartest thing she could’ve done.” What followed was a massive law enforcement response.

Rain revealed that the man had flown from Indiana to Miami and initially refused to leave the home. Authorities were forced to escalate the situation. “They had to bring in SWAT,” she said. “They literally had to break in and pull him out.”

Because the house was located along a canal, Rain said the response also involved the Coast Guard. For days afterward, she found herself speaking with federal authorities. “For a whole week I was talking to FBI detectives,” she said.

Rain acknowledged that while much of the public conversation around her focuses on money and success, few people understand the emotional toll that comes with sudden visibility. “Everyone always talks about the money,” she said. “But nobody talks about this part.”

Between online harassment, swatting incidents, leaked personal information, and a real-life stalker who physically broke into her space, Rain says anxiety has become an unavoidable part of her life, something she never dealt with before her rise online. “That was terrifying,” she said. “It really changes how you see everything.”

Rain has previously explained that she launched her OnlyFans account after losing her waitressing job in Florida, viewing the platform as a last-resort way to make money online. What started as a financial pivot quickly transformed into a career that exceeded anything she had initially imagined.

Despite the jaw-dropping numbers, Rain has also used her earnings to give back. She recently donated six figures toward efforts to combat hunger, a move that drew praise from supporters who applauded her for using her success to make a tangible impact beyond social media.
