After a disappointing 2025 season for the New York Mets – who signed Juan Soto in an offseason following a run to the NLCS – there’s some major shake up in Queens.

First, closer Edwin Diaz left to sign with the Dodgers on a three-year contract. Now, Mets all-time home run leader and five-time National League All-Star Pete Alonso has signed a deal to join the Baltimore Orioles. On the back of his sixth 30-home run season in seven career seasons he’s heading to Baltimore on a  five-year, $155 million contract.

The Polar Bear wasn’t the problem for the Mets in 2025, hitting 38 home runs and leading the National League in doubles with 41 en route to his fourth 100-RBI season. Alonso has reached the 30-home run milestone in every season of his career but the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign, and he leaves the Big Apple with 264 dingers to his name.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to hit the most home runs for each MLB franchise can you name in five minutes?

    Good luck!
