Christina Haack Goes HGTV Official With New Man

Christina Haack and her new boo Christopher Larocca make their small screen debut! The HGTV star’s new boyfriend made a cameo on her viral real estate show on Wednesday night.

Christina Haack and Christopher Larocca’s relationship began a few months back, right in the middle of her messy divorce from ex-husband Josh Hall.

In the season finale’s closing moments, Christopher made several appearances alongside Christina’s friends and family, who convened at the Newport Beach home of the reality star.

The gathering was filled with anticipation as they awaited the results of the final challenge, wondering if Josh had triumphed over her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and his wife, Heather El Moussa.

The company founder observed the event alongside Christina’s children, Taylor and Brayden, her best friend, Cassie Schienle, and her design partner, Kylie Wing. The CEO, however, chose not to interact with his partner during this time. 

Per Page Six, the reality star officially confirmed her relationship with Christopher on Instagram in February, shortly after sharing a romantic moment during a date night in Los Angeles.

Christina and her new partner made their social media debut, catching flights and feelings while celebrating aboard their private jet, where they were seen smiling and toasting with champagne. 

In her post, she humorously noted that “some plane flights must be hard posted.” The reality star and her beau looked chic in a matching black-on-black ensemble with dark shades. 

She found comfort on her beau’s thighs as they enjoyed their luxurious vessel’s refreshing view of the skies. Later, they embarked on a more romantic getaway in the “city of love,” Paris, where they were photographed kissing in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower. 

A source also revealed that the couple is often seen together around Newport and has even traveled internationally, deepening their connection during their time abroad.

Josh’s absence may be good riddance for the couple, especially Christina, who previously admitted that filming with her ex was not the most enjoyable experience.

The Blast shared that Christina confessed in a recent interview snippet shared on Instagram. The TV star discussed her upcoming reality TV show and addressed her experiences filming with her ex-husband, Josh. 

She candidly expressed that working together was uncomfortable and not enjoyable for her, noting that their separation had ultimately made the process easier and left her feeling better overall. 

Christina also highlighted that both Tarek and his wife, Heather, had observed a positive change in her character since their split. Heather chimed in, admitting that she was not particularly fond of Josh’s presence, adding, “I don’t wanna be mean, but it was kinda nice to see him go.”

Christina shared that her marriage had been struggling for an extended period, stating, “I’ve been telling him that things were bad for at least…a year, probably 18 months.”

The entire situation prompted her to seek a way out of the marriage. The reality star added, “When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that like really puts a damper on everything.”

She noted that she felt like she was not her true, bright self in the marriage, as she was busy coddling Josh’s feelings and trying “to not make him feel emasculated.”

Christina expressed a strong belief that the production quality improved without Josh. She highlighted the challenges that would have arisen during filming, particularly due to jealousy concerning Tarek and his relationship with Christina.

The Blast shared that in a recent episode of her TV show, Christina opened up to her friend Cassie about the ongoing challenges of her divorce from Josh. 

When Cassie visited her Newport Beach home, she was taken aback by the sight of quad bikes and ATVs that had appeared in Christina’s garage since her last visit.

Christina playfully explained to a curious Cassie that the bikes came from her place in Tennessee, referencing her Leiper’s Fork home, which had been on the market for sale.

The situation surrounding the property has been contentious; Christina’s ex-husband Josh had previously fought against its sale, asserting that they had an agreement allowing him to live there during the divorce proceedings.

Recent property records also indicate that the home has since been taken off the market, hinting that Josh’s stance may have influenced the decision. 

Christina expressed her frustrations during their chat, suggesting that Josh’s alleged greed has stalled their divorce process. She reflected on her feelings, wishing she had sought a prenup or had never married him in the first place, saying, “It’s crazy. He wants to retire off me.”
