Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, recently opened up about undergoing a nose job while battling cancer, addressing backlash surrounding her decision.

The rapper rose to fame after her viral 2016 appearance on “Dr. Phil” and has since built a career in music and modeling. In December 2023, she posed for Marc Jacobs while pregnant with her daughter, Kali Love, whom she welcomed with boyfriend Le Vaughn in March 2024.

Ever since, Bhad Bhabie has found herself in many controversial incidents, with the most recent being about her decision to get a nose job.

The 21-year-old shared the news of her nose job on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 21, alongside candid details about her experience and health journey.

In the posts, she revealed she opted for the cosmetic procedure to “remove the bump” on her nose. She posted before-and-after photos, including a selfie taken six days post-surgery, showing visible bruising around her eyes.

“Day 6! Nose jobs are not for the weak!” she wrote over the image, where she posed in a black tank top and matching shorts, her hair styled short and curly.

Bhad Bhabie faced immediate criticism for undergoing cosmetic surgery amid her cancer treatment. In response, she posted two text updates defending her choice.

For starters, she reassured critics that her procedure was approved by her doctor, emphasizing that it is possible to undergo plastic surgery while having cancer.

“I don’t know who told y’all you can’t get surgery when you have cancer,” she wrote. “I was cleared by my doctor. Mind the business that pays you.”

She continued, “Lying about plastic surgery is a problem, and clearly, so is telling the truth about having it. I choose to be open with y’all about what I have done, and [people] still make it a problem. Y’all are crazy.”

Thhe “Guicci Flip Flops” rapper also addressed rumors about her health, revealing in a separate video that she has been diagnosed with blood cancer, “Y’all [are] so worried about me, and y’all don’t even know what kind of cancer I have! It’s not breast cancer—that is a rumor.”

She further explained that her elevated white blood cell count is indicative of certain blood cancers or bone marrow disorders.

“I’m sorry my cancer medication made me lose weight,” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running with the worst narratives.”

Bhad Bhabie’s mom, Barbara Bregoli, fiercely defended her daughter against accusations of faking her cancer diagnosis in an Instagram video. “How dare you you?” she said of one particular hater. “I pray to God that one of your children never get cancer. I’ve had it twice. How dare you say my daughter’s faking this, you vile piece of no good sh-t.”

Bhad Bhabie recently shared her excitement about her upcoming EP, emphasizing her creative growth and newfound autonomy in the industry. “The single is definitely all me, and we had so much fun filming the music video,” she said.

She opened up about the challenges of being a young artist in the music industry, particularly during her early days under a record label. “When you’re signed, they’re just thinking of hits and marketing, especially because I was so young. I didn’t have a lot of choices or a strong voice,” she revealed.

Now, at 21, she’s embracing her independence. “I’m older now. I understand the game now. I will tell producers and music executives which songs I want and how I want them to sound.”

In addition to her music career, Bhad Bhabie has ventured into modeling, recently posing for Marc Jacobs during her pregnancy with her first child. She welcomed her daughter, Kali Love, with her boyfriend, Le Vaughn, in March 2024.
