The ‘MLB postseason strikeout leaders’ quiz

After dropping the first two games of the ALCS at home to the Mariners, the Toronto Blue Jays brought their bats to Seattle for Game 3 in a 13-4 victory. With a chance to even the series at two heading back north of the border, the Blue Jays are handing the ball to three-time Cy Young and two-time World Series winner Max Scherzer. When “Mad Max,” takes the ball, he’ll become the first pitcher to make a playoff start for six different teams.

While Scherzer admittedly looked his 41 years old this season with the Blue Jays – posting a 5.19 ERA with 82 strikeouts in 85 innings across 17 starts – his postseason experience could still make him a formidable opponent for the Mariners lineup.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Scherzer currently sits in sixth-place all-time in MLB postseason strikeouts, needing just three to secure his own spot in the top-five. With that being said, can you name every pitcher with at least 100 strikeouts in the MLB playoffs?

    Good luck!
