RINO Thom Tillis SNAPS at Reporter When Confronted If Donor Money from Industries Using Cheap Illegal Labor Influenced His Vote Against the SAVE America Act

North Carolina RINO Senator Thom Tillis completely lost it on Capitol Hill when independent journalist Sara Gonzales asked him the question every American voter deserves to have answered.

Gonzales confronted Tillis over the nearly $700,000 he has taken from industries that rely on cheap illegal labor, contractors, general contractors, hospitality companies, and construction outfits, and asked whether that cash influenced his vote against President Trump’s top legislative priority, the SAVE America Act.

Tillis’s response was pure RINO arrogance.

    Sara Gonzales:
Senator, you’ve received almost $700,000 from the illegal labor lobby. Is that why you voted against the SAVE America Act?

    Tillis:
Can you tell me who the illegal labor lobby is?

    Sara Gonzales:
Yes. It’s contractors, general contractors, hospitality companies, construction companies, and other industries.

    Tillis:
You know about the SAVE America Act? Which SAVE America Act are you talking about?

    Sara Gonzales:
The one that you voted against, sir.

    Tillis:
Okay. And so you’re asking me if I was against it because—

    Sara Gonzales:
You’re receiving almost $700,000 from these lobbyists.

    Tillis:
Do you have any idea what a remarkably silly question that is?

    Sara Gonzales:
I think it’s a pretty important one. I think your constituents want to know why you’re betraying them.

    Tillis:
Well, let’s do some math. Do you know what my total all-in election cycle cost was in 2020? It was $300 million. Do you honestly believe that I would make a policy decision based on that?

    Sara Gonzales:
I don’t know why you’re betraying your constituents.

    Tillis:
    Who do you work for?

    Sara Gonzales:
    I’m independent.

    Tillis:
    Okay.

    Sara Gonzales:
Why are you betraying your constituents? Why are you betraying your constituents, Senator?

    Tillis:
    Good luck on the clicks.

    Sara Gonzales:
We just want secure elections, Senator. You’re preventing us from getting that. You’re betraying America.

    Tillis:
    Good luck on your job.

    Sara Gonzales:
    Good luck on yours.

As Gonzales perfectly summarized after the explosive interaction:

What a strange thing for Senator Tillis to say. “$700,000 is not enough.” He’s a sellout—but not for that amount—because he receives $300 million. If I were an honest person and I were answering that question, I would just say, “I’m not a sellout to anyone. I don’t sell out for any amount of money.” But Tom Tillis says he sells out, just not for that amount.

    WATCH:

I asked Senator Thom Tillis about his vote against the Save America act and whether it has anything to do with the money he’s receiving from industries who profit off of cheap illegal labor.

He was VERY mad about the question.

This is the same Thom Tillis that The Gateway Pundit previously exposed for openly bragging about blocking the SAVE America Act.

In June, reporter Alicia Powe caught Tillis declaring the bill was “dead” and calling the entire effort a “math problem” while Democrats continue prioritizing illegals over American citizens. Tillis, along with Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski, helped kill earlier attempts to advance the legislation that simply requires proof of citizenship to register to vote and photo ID to cast a ballot.

President Trump has made the SAVE America Act his number one legislative priority for a reason. Americans are sick of open borders, non-citizen voting, and politicians who take money from industries that profit when the border stays broken.
