Kyle Cooke didn’t hold back when he addressed his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, during the “In The City” finale. During their conversation, Cooke called Batula out for lying to him about her relationship with their “Summer House” co-star, West Wilson.

For those who may be unfamiliar, things exploded in the Bravosphere in March 2026 when Batula and Wilson confirmed they were in a romantic relationship after weeks of denying it. While their romance isn’t a crime, it surprised fans and their inner circle due to Batula’s former friendship with Wilson’s ex-girlfriend, Ciara Miller.

“It just makes me so f—ing upset,” Cooke said to Batula during the “In The City Finale,” which aired on Tuesday, July 14. “You point-blank lied to me about West.”

Cooke revealed how irritated he was about the situation, adding that Batula wound up leaving him for Wilson, who “rages three times harder” than he does.

Over the years, Batula has been vocal about wanting Cooke to pull back from the nightlife—something Cooke seemed hesitant to do.

Batula clapped back, though, saying, “I didn’t leave you for someone else. I was scared.”

Amanda Batula Says Many Things Factored Into The ‘Demise’ Of Her Relationship With Kyle Cooke

In January 2026, Cooke and Batula announced their separation after several years of marriage.

“We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing. It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” they wrote, per the Daily Dish.

During the finale, Batula claimed that “many things factored into the demise of our relationship,” while Cooke admitted he’d made mistakes throughout the years.

As the conversation continued, Batula then joked that the backlash she’s been receiving over her newfound romance with Wilson has at least helped Cooke’s business, Loverboy, adding that the audience now “hates me so much.”

Batula went on to say that the backlash she’s received has been so much that she’s almost felt trapped in her New York City apartment. She then admitted that she’s grown fearful of the Bravo fanbase.

“Walking over here was scary. I am literally terrified to walk outside because I’m afraid someone is going to scream in my face,” she said.

However, Batula said she had to get out in front of the public and face her fears; otherwise, she’d “fall into that dark hole” again.

Wilson And Batula Confirm Their Romance With A Joint Statement

Before the “In The City” finale, Wilson and Batula confirmed their relationship with a joint Instagram post after months of fan speculation.

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” their post began. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

According to the post, Batula and Wilson developed a close friendship over the years, which then spiraled into something romantic neither of them had expected. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care,” they added.

Batula And Wilson Took A Beating During The ‘Summer House’ Reunion

Batula and Wilson were forced to face the music during the “Summer House” season 10 reunion, when the majority of the cast confronted them about the rumors they had lied about.

While some of them slammed Wilson for treating women as disposable and Batula for being a pick-me, Miller told host Andy Cohen that she believed they could last due to both of their deeply flawed personalities.

“I honestly think that the best, like, woman for West is, like, someone who’s not gonna check him on anything, and that’s totally Amanda,” she said. “She’s very mute. She’s gonna be that weak figure that he needs, and he can always be the star in the relationship. So, I actually think, like, maybe it could work.”
