Albanians Protest Corruption and Kushner-Linked Resort

For more than three weeks, thousands of Albanians have been protesting a planned luxury hotel development on the Adriatic coast that is partially financed by President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

This prime minister should leave. And it’s not about any more flamingos. It’s about healthcare. It’s about education. It’s about people getting poorer and poorer every day. It’s about people leaving their country because they don’t want to live here. It started as a protest because of the investment that’s happening in Sazan and Narta Lagoon from Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. It started because of that, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. Now we’re protesting for our rights and for a new Albania. It is about a private property. It is not about a land that is public. And the Albanian government is giving by selling out the country.
