    Labour’s Andy Burnham Wins U.K. Special Election

    Andy Burnham of the Labour Party won a key seat in the United Kingdom’s Parliament, clearing the path for him to challenge Keir Starmer as prime minister.

    “I do hereby declare that Andy Burnham is duly elected.” “Everyone knows that politics isn’t working. Everyone can feel that the country isn’t where it should be. This result changes that. This result will bring about a country that works fairly for everywhere and for everybody.”

    Andy Burnham of the Labour Party won a key seat in the United Kingdom’s Parliament, clearing the path for him to challenge Keir Starmer as prime minister.
