The ‘First round QB’s since 2000’ quiz

The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off Thursday night from Pittsburgh, and there’s little mystery in who the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to pick with the first-overall pick.

Heisman Trophy winner and national champion quarterback Fernando Mendoza looks set to become the second Indiana Hoosier to be taken with the No.1 pick and the first since Corbett Davis in  1938.

While Mendoza is all but locked into the top slot, it may be awhile before the next QB comes off the board. The next most-discussed quarterback prospect is probably Alabama’s Ty Simpson, who made just 15 starts with the Crimson Tide but threw for 3,567 yards and 28 touchdowns to five interceptions but was dominated by Mendoza’s Indiana in the CFP quarterfinal.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Unless the Raiders make a truly shocking decision on Thursday, Mendoza will be the fourth-consecutive quarterback taken in with the top pick. With that being said, can you name every quarterback taken in the first round of every NFL Draft since 2000?

    Good luck!
